Knitting raglan is one of the first things I learnt and have been using it to make cardigans and jumpers since. Definitely won't take you long to have it sussed
Same. My first sweater was knit in panels , and I hated having to piece them together and immediately learnt raglan. It’s such a game changer and time saver
I learned how to crochet last April & the very first project I made was a tube top! It was perfect because it was all the same stitch and just a rectangle that I connected together
girl learn the kit raglan its life changing! same principles as crochet in terms of where to increase but will need to earn how to do leaning increases (m1R/m1L), made in the moment on youtube has the best tutorial ❤ loving the vids btw
my first ever knitting project was a sweater too so its absolutely doable! it took like a month to finish but it taught me a lot and i had loooads of practice
Knitting raglan is literally so simple and makes things look way nicer in fit. Made in the moment on TH-cam has a super comprehensive and totally free tutorial! (Currently knitting a raglan baby tee lol)
I beginner project I recommend is the hexagon cardigan. If you can do a granny square you can definitely achieve this project!! It’s very easy and they have tutorials everywhere!!!
and there's so many variations that im sure basically everyone could find a version that they like! like for me, im not actually a massive fan of the typical modern crochet look that a lot of garments have (think a bunch of bright colours, thick hooks and chunky yarn), but simply changing the colours made me see the whole project differently, and you can turn them into jumpers, jackets, tie front cardigans, add linings and ribbing! so much opportunity to make it personal and something you'd actually wear
