I'm Brazilian, and I recently came to Germany to stay 6 months, and I swear I was waiting for this video since I discovered that I was going to be here in autumn and winter. Thank you. Your recommendations are always amazing
seeing what you’re interested in making is exactly why i watch videos like this so i totally don’t mind it being all about you, i hope you had/have a great birthday and cake (:
Hello from Fairy Tale Cottage, Schurwald Forest, Germany. I have a birthday in September as well, but I'm a lot older than you, lol. Those vintage jumpers you showed, from Drops, are the ones I wore when I was your age. More guessing time, 😆. You are right about those sweaters, by the way, they are perfect for knitting in the present times. I would leave out the shoulder pads, shorten them in length a little and skip the sinched ribbed hem alltogether. I would probably just knit a straight hem. Nice tattooes. I have quiet a few myself. 😃 They are almost as adictive as knitting, Haha 😄. Happy birthday. I say you are in your early twenties, but you come across as a more mature young lady. It is probably also a matter of higher intelligence 😃. Now see, that is something to be happy about. Start feeling good about people thinking you are older. You do not look old at all, but very young. In a few years time you will appretiate that more, lol. Huggs.
Bonne Marie Burns of Chic Knits has a few lovely DK/Worsted weight cardigans with lace, or cables. I'm making her Cinnie cardigan just now and her Ariann design a few years ago, which is a raglan sleeved cardigan with a garter stitch collar, similar to the one you showed, but a bit longer, it works as a lightweight jacket as well as a cardigan. The body of Ariann is knitted in one piece bottom up including the shaping and buttons up to the underams and then you knit the sleeves up to the underarms too then you join the pieces and work the raglan shaping - easy and comfortable, great with jeans and t-shirts, or over a dress!
Hi watching from London UK. Love your Ideas but I don't knit. I mainly crochet raglans & cardigans. Good luck with knitting your fall wardrobe. Can't wait to see the scarf you mentioned at the end of the video
so many lovely ideas 😊 I'm finishing up some smaller projects asap cause I'm dying to make a raglan! I agree about winter especially in UK, our colder months seem to be January & February. I hope you had a nice birthday 🎉
Happy happy happy birthday to you!! Hope you enjoyed your day and your cake!! You asked us to guess how old you were turning and I was thinking maybe 24….. Beautiful at any age! Thank you for the videos! I just made my first granny stitch raglan after watching your video - thank you! Woohoo! Keep up the excellent work! 🥳🎈🌟 ps - re: the seasons Summer: June 21st Autumn: Sept 22nd Winter: Dec 20th Spring: March 20th 😊 Winter: Dec 21st -
Love your inspo videos, youve inspired me to knit my first sweater, which im just about finished with the body at the moment, I hope you have a great day!
I have been eyeing the same scarf for soooo long and now that you might be making it, i think i will get myself together and make it aswell.😅 Happy late birthday!🧁
I'm knitting the deima cardigan at the moment, it's working up very quickly... Still haven't settled on which colours to use for all the ribbing though. I can see myself making another one soon after. If you don't like how the collar sits, there's another version where you add the neck ribbing last and include picking up stitches on the top of the button plackets, then just to a few rows of ribbing for a cute round neck.
currently working on a classic ribbed hat by purl soho & waiting on yarn to start a cardigan, pattern daydreamer cardigan by Veronika Lindberg (desperately want the Sézane Emile cardigan, but can’t spend $250 on it … so I spent $130 on yarn, $10 on the pattern, $20 on needles to recreate it …. still $100 less so I’m winning 💅)
I‘m currently working on the spot sweater by Anne venzel. I think it ticks some of your boxes . Its a raglan, with colorwork and I used all of my scrap yarn :)
so it’s like 75% of my *whole personality trait* to give people video ideas that they did *NOT* ask for.😂😂 i’ve been watching *sooo* many of your videos and 1 video you have that did well for you i think is *5 tops/things in one week* !! i looovvveeddd that video!😂 *not* trying to presure you here but i feel like that would help you get a lot of these things done quickly that you mentioned in this video!😃 maybe even *7 things in 7 days* . haha! i know that’s inSAANE but i’m just thinking about a good yt title.😂😂 *also* i love your *week in the life* vlogs. please continue them. i need some long videos to make me *hurry* and finish this granny square blanket for a family member.😂haha! sorry about this 10 page *essay* comment and i hope your birthday was fun! - jamie
Those videos always do so well but they are so intense haha it’s literally impossible atm to do so many things in a short amount of time 😭 i love doing the vlogs as well but they tend to do better if they’re mostly about knit/crochet content so i’m trying to tie some life stuff into my project videos 🥰 thank you for your comment though I love hearing other peoples thoughts on video ideas
Love the garter st wrong side colour changes ;) My b'day is start of September too (6th) and I think you're 24...maybe 23...or 25...no one else is guessing 😅
I love all these ideas!! But I'm currently working on the Norma Sweater and sadly the instructions are pretty bad and overly complicated...I love the look of it and I have managed to figure it out but I'm also a rather experienced knitter, so I would definitely not recommend the pattern as your first colorwork project!
I have no idea how old you are… I wanted to see what every one else was guessing but nope…. Anywho… I am making a sweater that completely reminds me of you… it’s colorful … I made up the pattern.. it’s knitted .. looks like a zip up hoodie … almost done with it. You’d love it!!!
How did I miss this? Deima’s Lucky Sweater is a lovely pattern for a jumper with garter stitch features 💘
I'm Brazilian, and I recently came to Germany to stay 6 months, and I swear I was waiting for this video since I discovered that I was going to be here in autumn and winter. Thank you. Your recommendations are always amazing
you'll need something warm to get you through the German winters haha

so glad you enjoyed this video!

omggg thank you for making this! I want to start making my fall wardrobe but I really lack creativity when it comes to this stuff
i’m working on a fingerless glove pattern with the simple lace design you mentioned! i agree that most of the lace once are usually too intricate
This videos really inspire me every season, and everytime is difficult to choose just one project 😭😭😭
i feel you, i wish i could make all of these patterns :')
so many lovely ideas 😊 I'm finishing up some smaller projects asap cause I'm dying to make a raglan!

I just started my raglan project today I’m so excited

I think I’ll start it next week and do a video about it! Maybe we’ll be making it at the same time 🥰

That sounds lovely! I will definitely have to give it a go one day
that scarf is gooorgeous!!
my guess, 26-27?? i turned 27 this year and i feel like we might be the same age :))

The daydreamer cardi looks so pretty! Somehow making it yourself is just better than simply buying it from the brand haha
for the lace- the Ophelia Blouse by StarCrossedKnits is one of my favorite designs! Not sure if its too cutesy, but it has gorgeous lace detailing.
Soooo cute! Thank you for sharing
I‘m currently working on the spot sweater by Anne venzel. I think it ticks some of your boxes . Its a raglan, with colorwork and I used all of my scrap yarn :)
That’s so so pretty! Thank you for sharing
if you do that sweater with the garder stitch, please show us!
It’ll be in my next video
The Vilma top by Gregoria fibres would give you that chunky, simple lace look x
Omg perfect!!!! Thank you for sharing

@@averpaula you’re welcome!😊and omg yeah, i know you’re already doing a million things!!!
I love these inspo videos
You should check out the "Vilma" vest by Gregoria fibers, the pattern is a cardigan vest however you can easily add sleeves :) Love your videos!
Someone else commented that as well and it’s literally perfect! Exactly what I had in mind 😍
Love the garter st wrong side colour changes ;) My b'day is start of September too (6th) and I think you're 24...maybe 23...or 25...no one else is guessing 😅
OH YEAH i got it right!! Just saw your ig. Happy b'day 🥰
Thank you for getting it right haha people always think I’m wayyyy older and it makes me feel so insecure 😭 hope you had a lovely birthday
Did you make the cardigan you'e wearing in the video? If so, do you have a pointer to the pattern? or how you constructed it?
It was freehanded, sorry :’)
I love all these ideas!! That’s so interesting to hear thank you for sharing. It’s such a shame when a pattern is hard to read
I have no idea how old you are… I wanted to see what every one else was guessing but nope…. Anywho… I am making a sweater that completely reminds me of you… it’s colorful … I made up the pattern.. it’s knitted .. looks like a zip up hoodie … almost done with it. You’d love it!!!
that sounds so so nice! i'm desperate to make a zip-up soon
have you found a pattern of a stripped jumper with garter stitch at the color changing part? i would love one
Sadly not yet, I’ve started one today and I’m just freehanding the pattern but will share my process in an upcomign video
And oops-- I messed up with winter noting it twice 🥶 ❄️ Dec 20th.
You have reminded me that I wanted to make a sweater by Petite Knit. I LOVE that half zip! Thinking about making that one my first sweater.
Now I’m hot to trot on finding the cabled rose intarsia pattern from Drops!
Does anyone have the name?
It’s not coming up from my phone 🥀
All the pattern links are in the description :)
Watching this as im knitting a cardigan on a 3 mm needle 😂
You have my respect haha 💘
💕💐💐💐💕
27??
