Coraline has nothing to do with Tim Burton 😭 it's directed by Henry Selick! And animated by Laika and of course the book is Neil Gaiman. Great pattern suggestions though! I actually finished the Sweet Home Sweater a few weeks ago and can confirm it's a great pattern! I'm glad you're calling attention to it, it deserves more love!
Omg I looked this up while editing and I swear the internet lied to me so thank you for the clarification! Pls forgive me lol! I finished Neverwhere earlier this year, I should read Coraline fr. Glad to hear you love the sweet home sweater!
@@stephtime hahaha you're forgiven! As someone who used to work at Laika I just had to say something. 😂 It's a common mistake because it was heavily advertised as being from the director of Nightmare Before Christmas when it came out...which is another film that everyone thinks Tim Burton directed even though it was actually Henry Selick. Poor guy can't catch a break. 😂 The Coraline book is great, though! Definitely give it a read sometime!
the partner pullover knitting "pack" is crazy honestly! i just bought it recently and haven't had the chance to cast it on yet, but the fact that it has two neck options, two lenght options, the option to add bust shaping and/or hip shaping, three different colourwork patterns (that you can even mix and match !!) is amazing. Lydia has so many versatile and size inclusive patterns, and fun !!! most of all. aside from that, i loved your suggestions, i might go ahead and add some to my ravelry favourites haha
Just had to say that it’s called Duplicate stitching when you embroider on top of a knit piece- not double knitting! Just that double knitting is something different so it might confuse some people
The autofocus on this otherwise fantastic video is very distracting - hope this comment comes across as constructive criticism as that is how it’s meant - great patterns

There are so many beautiful designs and designers I have never heard of, including the vest you are wearing. Love the suggestions! 😊

Thank you for the clarification!!
This was so lovely! Thank you for sharing. I was knitting but had to stop to frantically add so many patterns to my favorites.
Hahaha okay phew keeping your priorities straight!
It's a duck :)))))))) Finally, an inspiring video! Thanks!
The flower power pullover is my fave from your list. Soooo CUTE! 🫶

I loved your video, you are a sensational person, greetings from Mexico City.
I‘m into the duck sweater and the mélimélo sweater. 😅
The last one is perfect to start now so it will be finish in 8 months for autumn. 😂
Hahah yeah I hear that, no time like the spring to prepare for winter lol
This makes me want to start knitting!!
dryad was the first sweater I knit! took me a year lol wouldn't recommend as a first sweater pattern but it is gooorgeous
Hahaha sometimes it’s good to just go for it 🤣
Pls start crocheting! I need a Steph Time-approved crochet pattern list
Vest in the UK means like a tank top. I'm curious to know what this store was for the next time I'm in Scotland
Haha yes I think she explained it as “men’s undergarments” hehe it was called Island At The Edge on Skye
@stephtime oh I love Skye! Thank you!
@@kimberlypugh50 it was so beautiful 🥹
Back in the 70's and 80's vest tucked into pants was your underwear in the UK for children and men and men had the old string vest for holidays 😆
Do you by any chance also have a ravelry page where we could follow you? I loved all the motif patterns you found!
Hi! Thanks! I’m StephTime on Ravelry as well :)
your taste. immactulate
The link for the list doesn’t work
Fixed :)
Oooooohhh
I like this kind of video, but the constantly changing autofocus made it hard to watch.
Honestly I don’t blame you, I forgot to set it to MF once I had my focus set!
Loved the video, great inspo! But please consider ditching the elevator music. So annoying and unnecessary…
Thanks! And noted- I’ll bring the volume down on the next one!

It was annoying to me as well! Forgot to lock it in after I started filming. Sorry for the distraction!
would it be possible for you to maybe do a video on your beginner knitting tips
