This ad brings back memories from my college days. It was 2010 and I was in the process shifting from Setapak to Cheras. I was looking from room to rent and there were plenty in Cheras but almost 90% landlords refused to even consider the moment they knew I was Indian. It took months for me to be able to find a room to rent. Finally I got a room to rent from a nice Chinese landlord and he was gem of a person. He treated me with respect and even gave me some gig works so that I'm able to find some extra side income. I lost contact with him after I moved out and returned to my hometown. So, Mr. Ray if you are reading this God bless you sir.
Fantastic video. I've been renting my condo to two Indian girls for more than 4.5 years and counting with absolutely no issues. If you choose the right profile of tenants, you won't go wrong!

As a Chinese, I like this video. I've never been a house-owner, but I can understand the concern. OK, so let's say it's true there are many problematic Indian tenants, so much so that even Indians don't want to rent to Indians. So what? We know that not _all_ Indian tenants are problematic. So, instead of taking the shortcut of blocking off all Indians, why not spend a little time to do a background check. Give them a fair chance.

oh, this really got me into thinking hard... honestly, i used to have the same mindset: no Indian tenants, as i grew up hearing this term, "吉灵数", which means it's hard to collect rental or money from Indians. I couldn't understand why would my mom lease her apartment to an Indian family (and to the same family for nearly 10 years now). Yet, i know i was wrong. I hadn't even known that racism existed in me till i watched this video and wrote this comment... Happy Deepavali to all Indian friends🎉
