@@joshuafoote5144 It's hard to hear. It might not exactly be bones, but it's a faint... rumbling/grinding noise that I'm only guessing is bones. Either way, it's kind of creepy.

One of the most disturbing Mario bosses. The floating head and headless body of Bowser along with a hellish background that wouldn’t feel out of place in a Silent Hill game.
The aspect of Mario being trapped in a painting feels extremely Silent Hill/P.T. looking back on this as an adult.
As a kid, I always found that part with the floating head and attaching back on on the body the wrong way kinda unsettling (never really got scared, but just a little creeped out) lol

Love the detail that when his head comes off instead of breathing his normal fire breath, he starts shooting ice at you because the facade of him being normal bowser is up and he starts throwing more undead powers at you (ghosts are associated with the cold)

While he’s definitely cool and threatening in Luigi’s Mansion 3, I like the colors in this King Boo more. But they’re both awesome.

That’s true. I guess him being larger makes sense when you’re fighting him one on one, whereas in the first game he had the Bowser suit to give him his stage presence.
@@whisperstar13 I personally love how the following games made the fight between King Boo and Luigi more personal, the rematch in Dark moon was good since it was all of king boo but lacked that personal grudge the first game had with King boo personal taste for revenge
But in the third I feel like the third is a mix of both, this ain’t King boo playing around or conquering the world or getting revenge on Mario, but using all of he’s power to face Luigi
No more disguises, no more jokes and nothing but just revenge
It really makes a contrast by how Bowser despite everything he’s still friends with Mario in some form meanwhile King boo despises Luigi so much he’s able to take down everything to put that plumber inside a painting
Same, I miss him being such a small boy.
It makes me different from the other Big Bosses Characters such as Bowser.
This is definitely one of the darkest Mario (it’s based on Luigi, but it’s still a Mario game in my eyes) games ever.
With the creepy and very threatening King Boo, the kinda creepy Bowser boss, and Mario pleading for help inside a painting O_o
Edit 2024, this is still a masterpiece btw, and King Boo’s monologue is epic :)
Fun fact: Bowser's roar (the last part) sounds like the roar of the Alaskan Bull Worm from the SpongeBob episode: "Sandy, SpongeBob and the Worm".

King Boo is known as Master Of Illusions so he never used Bowser Suit again because he understood Luigi won

I have no idea why the general idea was that it’s a costume, but Irma definitely the real bowser, or at least an ALIVE REPLICA, because one of the ghosts say that king boo revived bowser after Mario killed him…
So yeah I have no idea why everyone thinks it’s a costume, but IT’S LARGELY NOT.

Skill issue
I did everything without a Death til the Endboss. I tried to Pick up the Third Bomb everytime because it needs longer to blow up. I died two times
This is an annoying final boss. The worst part is the annoying Boo speech you have to come back to every time you die and have to start the fight over again. I think it took me about six tries, and even then I was lucky to have defeated him. I only had 8 hearts left.
The first time I faced him, I got freaked out because of how much health he has.

As a kid Luigi’s Mansion terrified me. Seeing Bowser show up as the final boss was oddly comforting because of the familiarity. Then his head came off.
Poor Mario. I feel sorry for him being captured by King Boo and being turned into a painting.....

This final boss was too easily. King Boo loses too much health
Not for me. Bowser jumped a lot and would run me into a corner with bombs. I beat boolossus in one try, but beat Bowser with 10hp left and two deaths
before that.
I beat him with 2 HP left. Gonna play the Hidden Mansion now.
I love how tight this game is but god are the hit boxes on this boss battle awful to deal with 🎃

Really freaky detail before you even enter the room. The doorknob/knocker has scratch marks/gauges in the metal. It's not explained why they're there since the other doors in the house are relatively intact.

I saw this very battle yesterday when a Streamer was doing her first playthrough in of the game in 1 whole day. It took her 8.5 hours to complete the game.
I used to struggle so damn much with this boss. Then I discovered that if you walk backwards immediately after the fight starts, it suddenly becomes one of the easiest in the game.

Tought Meta-Ridley was hard till this MF came up. Died four times before realizing the stupid bombs could've been picked up with the vacuum... Lol

To be honest this is the one part of the game I found hard.

this had to either be played on WiiU hardware or on Dolphin upscaled to 2x - 4x.... there is no way in hell that the Wii or Gamecube could do 720p or even 1080p... also this game only runs at 30fps on origional hardware and all emulators abide by this standard. this video is sketchy at best.
It’s an emulator. You can tell by the effect, or lack thereof on the Mario/Bowser painting. Dolphin can’t render the painting correctly

@@DevinPlayzYT2007 I’m gonna be honest, I think due to King Boo’s illusion, his tail could make itself longer if Luigi gets too close to Bowser from behind. I’m not sure about the hair though.

Just a awful boss fight with terrible game mechanics, the spike balls are unresponsive to Luigi’s vacuum half the time, not to mention bowser jumping on you everyone so you no time regardless
