Dear Mr. Franklin,
I am writing to you regarding the valuable course that I am currently taking with you. I am afraid I cannot continue anymore.
As you know, I am a physician with a full-time job at one of the largest hospitals in the city. My work starts at 7:30 am and finishes at 4:30 pm, with a huge workload. In addition, I am a wife and a mother of a one-year-old daughter who needs a lot of attention and care. To make it worse, my housemaid has left for an urgent situation.
Although I am highly enjoying the course especially your way of teaching, I find it too much overwhelming to work, taking care of my family, and attending the sessions at the same time, which may reduce the benefit I am expecting from this course.
To get the maximum efficacy of the course, I would prefer to postpone taking it to the next September. By that time, I definitely will be having a babysitter and I will be more clear-minded.

@@haleandhearty7178 I found reading way easier to tackle as the answers were very clear and there was no ambiguity in any question.
I prepared for the test 3 days in advance and I did not practice writing and hence the low band. However, my scores are at par with the requirement and so I’m satisfied with my band.

Dear Ms. Franklin,
I am writing to you regarding the Computer Science program that I am currently enrolled in. Unfortunately, I can not continue anymore.
At the moment, I am preparing for my Information Technology certification exams that are necessary to aid my promotion at my workplace. To pass these exams, I need to prepare for at least six hours each day for the next six months leaving me with no time for any other activity after I return from work. During the weekends, I would have to be involved in Zoom meeting sessions with my study group to work on our capstone projects.
Even though, I very much hate to withdraw from this Course, I cannot continue the Computer Science Tutorials because I would need ample time to focus on finishing assignments and practicals that are requirements to passing the upcoming exams.
In the meantime, I would love to defer my Computer science admission to next year May intake, which is about seven months from now, when I would have rounded off my exams.

some channels do not separate the first paragraph (starts with I am writing.. ) and the second one (starts with November ..) they prefered writing together

GT WRITING TASK 2
Dear Ms. Franklin,
I am writing this letter with utmost regret to inform you that unfortunately, I would not be able to continue with the Computer Science course.
I am currently working full-time as a Project Manager at Fraser Health, and we are almost at the end of completing the project assigned. Due to the same, the company requires me to have an open availability, which sometimes requires me to work overtime, and even on weekends, depending on the business needs.
Since I have been working so much, it has been extremely overwhelming and daunting to juggle between work and school. In addition to this, everytime I have tried doing some course work, I have been unable to concentrate due to inadequate rest, which is further leading to additional stress, and causing me to burnout.
I am hoping that you would understand my situation, and if it is possible, I would like to continue the course at a later date. I would also appreciate a partial refund of the tuition, or alternatively, if I could transfer a part of it when I continue the course, I will by highly thankful to you.
I truly value your time and efforts and I am hoping to hear back from you.

Hi good afternoon from Nigeria, please how will I know if the letter is formal, informal and semi formal
Formal: people you don't know. Informal: Friends/family. Semi-formal: people like ur boss, supervisor
I don't think I agree that this letter should be semi-formal. The semi-formal letters are addressed to someone you have close relationship with (as a friend) about a formal or a serious situation like work.
