Well done fella, got my wife's focus to do when the new clutch arives and I don't have the luxury of a garage or I do but it's away from my house and has no power! Joy joy !
I’m working on a 2006 zx5 Same exact engine and transmission I have a question I’m also swapping the master cylinder can I just drain the resivoir as the first step and second question is will I lose all the mtf oil when I pull the cv axles ? So should I drain the two quarts of mtf oil first as well ?
I will watch this a few times, i am a classic land rover guy that needs to do a 2005 ford fuckedus clutch for my brother. I have baby bridges , hand tools and a hoist. Wish me luck!
I’ve never done this before, I swapped my transmission, i am ready to fill and bleed clutch, any suggestions on how to start this properly, do I have to bleed out all the fluid out of the lines and Reservoir before I fill in the new fluid?

How did it go?
Clutch job went fine, two months after a moron drilled his car in the rear of the fucked-us so it was totalled and at the scrapyard with a new clutch.
I'm doing a similar job on my Ford Mondeo on my channel. Good job bud.
Cheers
Martin

Thanks for the step by step procedure couldn't have done it without you *cough* *cough* being sarcastic if u didn't catch on
Where did you hook up that engine crossbar to support the engine? Did you just loop the chain around the block?
I love how you explained your work, very helpful, thank you so much!
Great commentary, great advice, great video.
Dave, I see you did this video years ago. By any chance you remember how long it took you to pull, replace parts, and install the trans back in?
where's the part 2?
