Oddly enough , dispite the influences , I'm not a big Jazzmaster fan , to me they just don't sparkle like a strat or tele , and too many knobs and switches , but that's just me , Lemmo always sounds good , and it's his thing , so rock on dude. thanks guys.

I've always loved jazzmasters and was stoked to find out lemmo was a jazzmaster fan too. All my friends give me shit about it because they all like super strats with emgs 😂
As guitar players, we tend to think of the instrument in terms of riffs and licks. Mike’s playing is so great because he doesn’t do this. He builds soundscapes, songs and melodic lines. I wish I could do that.

I can honestly say I’ve never seen a Jazzmaster with gold hardware, aside from the anodized gold pick guard of course, must’ve been a rare and pricey option back in 1962.
W3STI3 96 hey I just saw Tommy Emmanuel last Tuesday at Chapman University. I sat up front-bucket list and I got to sit with Tommy for a few minutes just an amazing one man show and I talked with him. There were 3 Matons for different tunings. Just crazy good night.
It's at the point for me where coming for Lemmo's playing is more important than the guitars.

If you don't have a looper pedal, I recommend one. I can't play like him for sure, but it's fun to experiment and build layers.

I did the math once....adjusted for inflation using the cpi it came out to over 3k
