I went to OSUT at Ft. Knox in 96. The rifles we got issued had gone through so many hands and dumb privates doing dumb private things that on a lot of them you couldn't even push that button down to open the door any more. They were just jammed tight with dirt and whatever else. And you know training company armorors don't give a crap as long as the Rifle works well enough to get a guy through BRM & Advanced once you're moving more to the MOS side of your fun filled 16 weeks.
