Steve Ferrone adding to this super band. Thanks for sharing high energy music at it's best. Love to see Megan and Rebecca rockin' with kindred spirits.
It doesn't get any better than that!!! I've listened to literally all kinds, types, genres-- for 5 decades now, classic rock, blues, CCM, jazz, Gospel-- that was mind blowing, sheeesh, those 🐞 ladies rock the house down!!
I saw Mike on Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's first uk tour in 1977 supporting Nils Lofgren. His louche, laid back style and the gold Les Paul burned into my senses that night.
This was such a fun surprise. Great show all around. Worth the wait to see them in 2023 after their 2020 show got canceled. I've probably come back to this video 6 or 7 times since the concert.
Definitely sounds similar to Tom….although I heard Mike Campbell say he wouldn’t play any of Tom’s songs. Brings back great memories!!! Tom Petty, high school drop out. One of many…..Tom may have checked out early, one of the best all round musician…. Miss you Tom…pray you come back bud..😎✌️
As this was the first time seeing MC sing I was thinking the same thing. Not only that but he has some of the same facial features. Brothers/different mothers. Of course, dude nailed the solo. I admire the way MC is navigating the grieving process at his own pace, in the process finding/creating identity.
Oh, man! I wish I could have been there! I love Larkin Poe and I've been listening to Mike Campbell since the 70s with the Heartbreakers and now with the Dirty Knobs, love him too! What a great night!
Rock And Roll. !!!!!
Tom would be proud. very nice version.❤❤Larkin Poe those sisters rock also.
Smokin! RIP TP. Keep rockin Mike. Just saw Larkin Poe at Levitate and they crushed it!
Watched this after listening to them on TP Radio. A great moment with Mike and Steve. Would have loved to have been there.

That was a great video! So nice to see Larkin Poe with Mike Campbell. I am a big Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fan. Saw them in Toronto in 1981.
Absolutely Superb ❤

My two favorite bands in one. Insanely cool that this actually happened.
Great stuff. My favorite TP song with my favorite band. I'd listen to them jam for another hour.
Amazing❤❤
Excellent, and featuring the always brilliant Mike Campbell👍
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was one of my all time favorite groups and Lark and Poe is becoming one as well.

Holy crap that was good
Need to find a cleaner mix version so we can all hear Megan and Mike jammin!
Never, ever go over to the COMMERCIAL side, never stop making your music.... record labels, producers, THEY ARE 100% LARKIN POE!!!!
Runnin' Down A Dream' by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers just got an upgrade thanks to Larkin Poe and Mike Campbell
Mannnnn.... Rebecca makes this song sound SO much better than the original 😰
I agree, and she knows how to work with a microphone, unlike Mike. Seriously dude, get near the thing before you start.
Sounds a lot like Tom eh?
4 forty three years they were attached at the hip.
@@terryhunter2526From the same town too, Gainesville, Florida.
never seen Mike w/a mic in front of him, let alone singing
Check out his band, the Dirty Knobs. He handles most of the lead vocals.
Great job. Thanks for posting.
