Well, at least this Chronomat 36 doesn’t look feminine. I absolutely adore the white dial variant. I don’t like the fact Breitling is marketing this as a ladies watch, screw them, but for a Japanese guy with a wrist circumference of only 15 cm, they’re one of the few manufacturers that offers a nice looking small (34 - 36 mm) watch that’ll fit my wrist. I usually wear a 29.5 mm Cartier Tank Must. Rolex and Tudor does offer these size ranges as well, and I am looking for a OP34 but they are super hard to find these day, so I was thinking of Chronomat 36 as an alternative.

yeah, just looked at them and was really disappointed they didn't have a 39. Also see breitling just straight up advertising it as a ladies watch. Disappointing, because this could be an easy choice alternative to a Rolex OP/DJ that is more than double in price

Breitling is really killing it with their new watches. They managed to keep the Breitling look and design language while getting rid of the oversized and overly busy "early 2000's" look of their previous watches.
Huge fan of the new Breitling releases over the past few years, the chronomat is distinctively their and they did a great update here. It feels modern, but still true to their design dna. Not for me personally but i appreciate what they’ve done and am happy to see others happy!
I'm wearing mine now, it's probably my favorite everyday any occasion watch. I probably get the most compliments out of all my watches on this. It's my first Breitling and I love it!
I always thought the "hers " would be a great " his" for the Vintage and 36 mm Datejust kind of guy .Also at first glance of the video I thought the watch was an Overseas.

The new Chronomats are beautiful and built like a tank in typical Breitling fashion. The new bracelet is over engineered feels sturdy like it can take a beating yet looks refined.

I have owned and worn the Breitling Chrono Cockpit the smaller version of the Chronomat since 1996 it's on what they referred to as the Bullet Bracelet back then. I found the Bracelet comfortable and sturdy and the watch bullet proof pun intended :). The watch was my daily driver for many years, now it's semi retired but I just took it out of the watch box. I picked it at the time over the full sized Chronomat because it was 37/38 mm and fit my 16 cm wrist much better and had all the design cues of the bigger watch but the case was much more graceful and ran an ETA 2892 -a2. A small movement and much more refined that the larger 7750. I love this new one looks, tried it on but found it just too big and thick for my wrist
I agree with you completely regarding the 36mm models. No idea why Breitling would advertise them as Ladies models. And the Rouleaux bracelet is a winner.
I was literally just looking at this exact watch but with the Green Dial and this video comes up in my recommendation. I already have 2 Breitling watches which I love and may end up buying a third!
The new Breitling is a refreshing change from the gangster rap days. Much more restrained design. Their chrono movement has legitimate street cred and moves this model past the icky 6/9/12 subdial arrangement so common with the 7750 based chronos of the 90s and 2000s.
My concern is the bezel’s sensitivity. Is it easily scratched? It looks great when clean, free from fingerprints and shiny; but when it gets some even hairline scratches?
The movement on the 42mm chronomat is an in house Breitling B01 movement vs the ETA based movement on the ladies model. Just something you forgot to mention. Great video Christian!
Have the B01 Chronomat Chronograph blue dial and its a fantastic piece! The bracelet is comfortable and, i think, elegant. A bit on the heavy side on the wrist, but a great piece!
Love Breitling and especially the new iteration of the Chronomat. But would prefer it with its wings #bringbackthewings But I love what B did with the bracelet, that was a great move by them and I look forward to 2021 to see what they are coming up with next.

I wanted to be unique in this comment section but the T&H fam are all over it as usual. So I just want to repeat: how much like an intergrated sports watch does the 36 look? Put it in a line up with blue dial AP, Nautilus, Overseas and it wouldn’t look out of place AT ALL. Brilliant design, I’d wear it in a heartbeat. These watches have captured my attention recently and out of all the Breitlings, I can see a chronomat on my wrist sometime soon..
I think the fact that Breitling made the 36mm with just ladies in mind although so many guys are really into it, even more than the 42mm chronograph shows, that Breitling as a brand is on the wrong way...they focus on the wrong things.
I love Brietling! Own Superocean and avenger but not a fan of this bracelet at all. I like their signature traditional bracelet. Don’t like the mesh either

Love that bracelet! Now all that Breitling need to do to win people back is to invoke a price freeze for a few years. They have a great catalogue, but just a bit overpriced.

I have the Chronomat B01 with the blue dial. It’s magnificent!! It’s comfortable on the wrist and I think the bracelet looks great!

That looks very good actually. But of course most Breitlings' issue is their size. It needs to be brought down to 40mm.

They should definitely make a bigger version of this one. Doesn't need to be 44. Maybe a 40 or 42mm.
36mm is nice, the integration wid3 of the bracelet will make it wear a little bigger so 37/38. However, why have the 5 and 7 markers been cut short!

i like the 36mm but again as with brietling this is just a bit too expensive for a modified eta.
42mm size too big, should be 39-40mm like the classic Chronomats from the 90s and 00s.
