You should make both your ruler and heir into a general and have them lead troops to make them die faster to get the bonuses from appointing a new heir. You won't lose sability unless they are leading troops in a war

cant do that as knights at least at the start. knights only have 20 noble influence and you need 40 to hire a general. until you conqure some land to give them your estates are nearly functionless. which is probobly why he always forgets them given he mostly plays tiny nations with worthless estates at the start.
you can hire a noble diplomat dude and get the influence. using call diet and the diplomat is dangerous though. with the influence from hiring a noble general, you might go over the cap and have a noble rebellion. best to just do diplomat/general which will get you to 60 i think. This is all off the top of my head. numbers might be off, but i have 3k+ hours. *shrugs*
Rhagos Just by making them you won't easily conquer the world. I was thinking about how do people manage to conquer the world in 370 years when on average one war takes around 2 years. I've once played a very aggressive game as mamluks and by 1750 i had around 8k development. But again, that was as a major country, one province minor is a different history
You were well on the way to conquereing the world then. The vast majority of your conquests are done in the very late game, with Imperialsim and maxed Admin Efficiency.
Think i just play too casually then. Last game as Russia i managed to unite everything from Bohemia to Japan, half of Europe and all of Asia in other words. BUT, but that's only half of the world. That's crazy how people manage to take everything and not because there's a lot to take but also a lot has to be colonized...

Btw Raiding is unique to very few nations based on idea groups. Basically the Berber nations (north africa) and the knights can raid. Do you need any dlc?
