This is why i don't buy nike anymore. The soccer/football jersey quality looks & feel like when i buy copy replica on street market.

Not just Nike every company is trying to normalize us replacing items more frequently. I don’t mind spending money on quality but there has been times i have been burnt and the item falls apart quick.

My dad bought Air Max Pulse and they're alright. The synthetic toebox creases up for a couple of months and I need to reconsider getting any Nike shoes in favor of Diadora.

My Nike dunks, i ordered arrived yesterday. The plastic on them ( I got ones with synthetic leather), felt extremely cheap. Furthermore there were several already open stitches in the stitching of the shoe. At the back of the shoe were the Nike logo is stitched there were obvious glue remnants. For more than 100 dollars or euros, I was disappointed and returned them. The funny thing I had ordered a pair of ellesse shoes, for 25 euros on extreme sale, which had better feeling plastic and stitching than the 4 times more expensive Nike shoes.

This is WHY you buy replicas! The replicas quality is 1000 times better.
The same authentic shoes produced in the same factory as the fakes. Once the factory produces a certain number of shoes that Nike calls for, (for example 20,000 pairs), the workers use the materials left over, to produce the SAME EXACT SHOE but sold under someone else and not under Nike themselves.
Why pay 5x the price for authentic when the replicas look so much better?
Imagine working for Nike on the assembly line, holding and passing thousands of authentic pairs day after day. You'd think these workers wouldn't see repetitive flaws? Of course when they make replicas, they learned from the flaws and make better shoes that you guys call "fakes".
Buy reps. Save money. Use your money to pay bills, buy land, more money back into your pockets! Shoes are shoes at the end of the day. Ain't nobody gonna look at your feet. And if they do, then THEY have a problem. Put your money where it actually matters!

Such a shame because they look so nice. I received my pair today and sealed the box immediately after checking them out

Yeah it’s not good. Just received a second pair of J1 mids cos I needed a bigger size. First size that’s too small no QC issues. 2nd one that’s the right size has imperfections on the “leather”. Really frustrating. I don’t think bad QC should be accepted, I’m pretty sure the issue on mine shouldn’t be coming under tolerance either but with so many people accepting bad QC then Nike aren’t and don’t need to do anything about it.

People need to understand that the finishing on their Nike trainers is only as good as the skill and care taken by the person who has glued and assembled each shoe together in whatever factory they were produced in. It is clear that any given factory is likely to have a very small number of competent shoe assemblers. The rest of them obviously don't care and especially the person who is being paid to do the quality control checks. Perhaps this is in part due to the high pressure and high volume production targets they are subject to and also, I'm guessing, due to being paid in peanuts resulting in low morale. So as a customer all you can really do is hope that you are handed or delivered a box containing one of the better pairs of trainers, which is a bit of a lottery win nowadays. BTW buy a hundred pairs of Skechers trainers - you will not find a single bad pair. Guaranteed.
