I've been wearing onitsuka tigers as my main pair of shoes for a decade. They used to be as cheap as Vans, used to buy a bunch of pairs for $50 to $75 and part of why I bought them was they are great shoes that might not last long but real good for low sole. I just checked my email and I bought a pair of mexico 66 at $85 in 2022. These same shoes today on the same website are $200. I don't know what happened in the past few years but the prices have gotten out of control. It is brutal.

Adidas changes many things in superstar shoes like outer sole adidas logo, a thick inner sole and inside the shoes the blue Adidas printed adidas name inside the inner sole. Am I right and reply my comment

My man, I know they released the vintage greens in Alabaster (offwhite) and Chalk white. Alabaster mostly sold out. Is there a big difference in white with the Chalk white? As I do not like the white whites. I like that off-white slightly dirty white/cream white. Thanks in advance!

I wear a 10.5 (Serrano) which you can't get from Japan. I got an 11 and they're just too big enough to be super annoying. And they weren't cheap.

No way you use them for a year everyday. They look like they have been used ocassionally though that year.

There's another version of Samba Classic called Samba Indoor. It's the same soccer shoe as the Classic except it's got shorter tongue and has thicker synthetic lining.

court vision are just sharper less bulky and overall more clean and its somehow cheaper af1 on the other hand are made for short people and are hella overrated and overpriced.

you want to buy the from New Zealand we have to pay a small fortune for them out of JAPAN but you can fly to Australia buy a pair and fly back to nz for less than you buy them from JApan dont figger

I've bought 2 pairs of TV's and 1 pair of the regular c85 vintage(currently in my rotation) and I can tell that the leather is more firm/thick and the insole is more comfortable on the tv's.

Ughh. This is so frustrating! I just found Ultimate 81 on the Onitsuka Tiger site, but they're damn near $400. 😭 I didn't even look at shipping. The soles look different. Not many color choices available. I'm just gonna snag as many pairs of Asics that are similar as I can in my size before those are gone, too. Idk who is designing shoes lately. Almost all modern sneakers look really weird to me like moon shoes. I haven't been able to find the Adidas Superstar in hemp for years either...

I use to wear these all through high school in the 80s and they were the most comfortable sneaker ever. Believe it or not I STILL have a few Tretorns from the 90s when I was in college. They still hold up well and are still very comfortable. They were considered a luxury sneaker because it is a sleek forming sneaker (similar to the Adidas Samba) that gave a classic preppy look, which was very popular at the time. Heads up, preppy is back as of Spring of 2024. If you like the classic preppy look and great comfort, I would highly recommend investing in Tretorn sneakers. They really go well with lots of outfits.

Settled for Forrest Gump colorway. Used to rock blue Nylon/Suede pair 10 years ago and holy shit were they nice.

So I am from South Africa. I'm going to try and explain my self the best i can. So for 1 Back in the late 90s early 2000s they used to be very popular in our market. The Cortez with the heal indent at the back of the sole was known as the Nike GUMP in our circles due to Forrest gump obviously , the colourway didn't matter. Then there was the cortez as we knew it the 1 with the straight back sole at the heal. Now I don't know if you guys in the US had these special editions like what I am going to describe of the Cortez ( Straight back soul) So they had these special perforated leathers and textiles on them with a wild fade in the colors and i think the soul was thinner than the normal gump. 1 stood out to me as a family member had 1 back then it was a textile type ( I don't know the material but it was great ) with a baby blue type fade from the front to a darker blueish to blackish type fade . Oh man what a design . 1) Is there a difference in model numbers or name of the 2 types Gump( Heal indent ) and the Cortez ( Straight back sole)? 2) Do any of you guys have a pic of the different fade models of back in the day ? I cant find a pic anywhere of it. 3) Do u think nike will do such special models again ? Cheers
