Just cruised through your Downtown tour video on TH-cam, and let me tell you, it was smoother than butter sliding down a greased-up flagpole on National Butter Day (which, FYI, is totally a thing).
Seriously, the video flowed like a dream. Crisp visuals, music that had me bopping my head like a bobblehead in a hurricane, and commentary that was both informative and witty enough to make even a mime crack a smile.

    Barely anyone on the street

the downtown has many pockets, not pedestrian friendly, highways all over leading to the burbs. It is sad how many beautiful buildings were torn down for parking lots - making it feel empty.

only like 10-11 thousand people actually live in downtown compared to the rest of Dallas which is around 1.1 million.
      quite literally a 10:1 ratio
Also everything isn't concentrated in downtown as the entire metro area is basically a giant suburb, similar to the likes of pheonix.

It's kind of sad to me. I live in europe now and downtown is always bustling with energy with lots of people walking around doing various activities. It's more livelier. That's how it should be.There are giant parking garages here but nobody walking around because probably there's nowhere to go to.@@blackhole9961
