Looks like a prosperous City. There may be some parts that are grim of course but there is a lot of wealth in those building as compared to the awful stuff built in Blackpool and the rest of the UK. Looks like a big grid plan like most US cities and very unlike the UK. Hard to get lost! Good to see the place as I have never been to Texas.

It's been fifty years since I was downtown in Dallas at night, and your video makes it look pretty much like other affluent cities. TH-cam gives the impression that English folks out on Saturday nights are likely to be knee-walking drunk. When in England, I don't crawl the pubs, but I'm surprised at how many folks remember the "Dallas" TV show. I spend my time these days in my house on a quiet residential street a few miles from downtown Dallas.
Down town is easy....3 main streets go east and west. Going west you run into west end, Dealy plaza and the Hyatt regency ball. East gets you to deep ellum and Fair Park. Att discovery district (screen) is in the middle; convention ctr is blocks away. North is uptown; nw is victory park.....all the fancy restaurants. 👌🏾

Very cool video on Dallas Nightlife. I was raised in the suburb, north of Dallas. I thought Dallas was mostly dead after 5:00 p.m. But it still doesn't make me want to go explore myself. Not my scene.
Utterly interesting video and laid back narration, well done. You mentioned looking the wrong way when crossing the road. Try and think carefully when you do it. I worked in Sau Paulo for 3 months. One day on a quiet Sunday I looked right, nothing! Stepped into the road, screech of brakes behind me as I continued to look right. I was VERY lucky he stopped in time. You walked over some small glass squares in the pavement which you have told us about in Blackpool at the top of Church St. The ones tarmacked over. Presumably there are rooms below. The night life reminds me of an Italian piazza at night. Thank you

When you were on Mainstreet facing the AT&T Discovery District, if you would have turned to your left (East) and walked about 20 minutes you would have crossed in an area called Deep Ellum...that's where EVERYTHING happens, some good, some bad but its a whole different world 😂😂😂

Americans tend to identify with the homes of our ancestors. If your great-grandparents came from Ireland 150 years ago - you're Irish! Most of the "Irish" pubs in my area (NY/NJ metro) are actually run by people from Ireland. But they are over the top.
thankyou so much i watch every vid but this was very interesting your trip to dallas i have enjoyed everyone but sad to see the decline in the centres to how it used to be i think blackpool at the moment is the only one thriving all over europe its in decline shops shutting etc thanks again for your hard work
