I like how this character is kind of like a reverse jack, it really speaks to how well brotato is designed that so many vastly different character archetypes can fit in the same game.
I wonder if burn would be better if it turned off the enemy's pathfinding while it was active. So they ran around randomly like you see in a lot of places instead of ignoring it and continuing to charge at you.
Speaking of "the items that are good for this build are all over the place", try wrenches, they're fun and surprisingly good. The turrets apply burn all over the map, the wrenches themselves have nice knockback which is helpful for having the enemies not right on top of you while they burn, and you don't even need +engineering since the burn is doing the work instead of the bullet damage from the turrets. If you find Strange Book it's a nice bonus, but definitely not required. Great video, as always.

Yup - the flexibility of the engine is pretty amazing when you really start to see the diversity of what the mods bring!
