My only gripe with this game is Pyg’s one-shot builds making late game literally impossible to win if you don’t get a perfect run. I keep making interesting builds that take a little to scale before really popping off, only to run into a Pyg with skyscraper doing 19,000 damage within the first 4 seconds. I’m sure it’ll get nerfed but for now, it kinda takes the wind out of my sails and I just close the game after it happens. Thanks for introducing me to the game, love the content and having an absolute blast with the game, it has so much potential!

My first Pyg run I got a silver beast of burden in my first shop and scaled it like crazy. Got the Vanessa item that adds damage of your least powerful weapon to all your weapons, and the Beast was my only weapon. Oh, and then I got max crit as well. Was one-shotting folks with, like, 10k damage. 😂
@iah6866 By default,dam destroys 3 weapons or items or anything on the opponent's board, and the dam included. Now this wouldn't be a problem usually, but because double cast is a thing, that would make dam destroy 6 items instead of 3, and if you give it another triple cast. It destorys 9, and that would mean you literally can't do anything and would lose 100% with no counterplay. Tldr: dam can lock down your opponents board unless you do something about it fast which is very unlikely.
Thanks to you I found this game. Its been a blast! The EU servers are a nightmare, but when they do work I am having real fun. Been a good while since I found a game so engaging.
I think you can fight a build that wasn't made during a recent player run, because it was premade by the dev. And they might be those build that have 999 gold ?
Had a build on Pyg yesterday that was able to get 20k+ shields and then do damage equal to shields within the first 4 seconds of a match starting, 10k Max HP and yet still lost to Dooley's having infinite freeze builds + Vanessa's being able to kill me just that fast. Game is good but it feels so bad sometimes to lose when your build is just absurd.
You are correct. This wasn't nerfed. I commented early to help the video. From the title, I thought you were using Skyscraper. For those struggling against this build, try to pick up some freeze items. Unlike some of the nerfed one-shot builds this one is slow enough to stop before it goes off.
Compared to everything, beast of burden isn't actually that bad. The skyscraper build however is absolutely insane, it's impossible to lose with/win against once you get to it. Beast of burden at least takes investment of money and has a good playstyle to it. It's also a 12 second cooldown, so it's not as bad as the ridiculous 2x skyscraper. Beast of burden has counterplay with freezes and disabling. You can also heal/shield from it rather easily because of the HUGE cooldown with giga shield builds. I've stalled against 5k damage things that kept ramping because they have large cooldowns. Skyscraper is just multicast 2 and has nothing you can build to scale up to prevent the oneshot before. Aggro builds from Vanessa can also take out a pyg without any heal/shielding pretty consistently with the submarine rabid firing if they build it to also cc you correctly. TLDR, I think beast of burden/dog is fine, they're commitment to get online with good counters, tower is the problem.

Just ended a run with 55k hp, had to ditch golf clubs for more hp because i became a property

Dropping Soul of the District at almost 10k health with 1200 healing is a boss move.

Crazy you had the Skyscraper build shopped this run too. You got Skyscraper, Phonogram, and the Glass thing in shop pretty early.
My favorite part of the video is when he opened the chest and received a 55th hammock 🎉🎉 10 out of 10 that's why I keep coming back
