Yes VIXX the concept kings!! They are mad talented and two fun facts are 1.) They are all on the taller side and one of the tallest groups in kpop 2.) they performed this song at a end of the year thing( i think) but all the groups there gave them a standing ovation bc they killed it. Plus i think bts where the first ones to stand up but vixx sure deserved it!!
I miss Vixx so much. I can't wait for them to start promoting again even though I'm sad it will only be with five members. This song never gets old.

@@Koko3op Hongbin left the group last year and Leo and Ken are currently in the military service and N and Ravi have parted ways with the company for acting and solo work but they are still VIXX and the youngest Hyuk as a soloist with 5 members with no activities for the moment.

“That” is N. He’s a very accomplished contemporary dancer and has beautiful solo work. He’s the leader and a lead vocalist, and of course main dancer. He’s also a good actor.

Shangri-la's concept was based on the members zodiacs. They practiced a long time with the fans and could do a lot of tricks that got taken out of the final choreography. They got so much attention for their special performance at the end of the year for this song that they were invited to perform it for the Olympic council.

Ahh Vixx!! One of the best things about this group is that the aesthetics are never just aesthetics, there's usually deeper meaning in them tied into their concepts, which is why they're widely acknowledged as "concept kings" in the entertainment industry. Vixx MVs are always open to interpretation but as I understand it, Shangri-La is actually a concept from Asian folklore. It’s a mystical, exotic utopia isolated from the outside world. As a “lost paradise,” some say that it’s a real place that can no longer be accessed or found, or that it's located in another world or that it is actually a place of the imagination/state of tranquil consciousness to be attained through inner exploration. You can see such imagery and symbolism expressed in the MV (e.g. the cut out windows, the two worlds separate and then eclipsed, etc.). The lyrics also reflect aspects of this when applied to love as a state of utopia that they’re trying to reach, and the MV gives off a similar yearning, dream-like quality. Shangri-La is said to be a paradise of nature and vibrant beauty, so the aesthetics and colors used here actually tie in with each member’s birthstones/birth flowers. I think the deer and peach were also used as symbols of longevity in ancient oriental culture. Hope this helps!

Yessss Vixx. I recommend watching the Gayo live stage version of this song. It's so good. They added a extra segment to this song. I love this group. They introduced me to Kpop. Everyone has had to live up them since. N the leader has contemporary dances solo videos I recommend them as well. Their vocals, dancing and concepts are unmatched. Every thing they do is high fantasy.
As I know its a song and mv about heaven in Korean mythology. The animals flowers etc represent somethings that I dont really remember 😅 but thanks for reacting them. Their main vocals Leo and Ken have really strong voices but I guess it wouldnt fit this song if they got too strong since its a calm concept. One of the point of this concept is that its "Korean". Im not good at the musical part but I guess they used Korean instruments and lyrics of the song was fully in Korean. They wore Korean traditional clothes on stage and, again as I know, they were the first idols who did that. I mean, we can see the idols performing in Korean traditional clothes these days, was started with vixx. Original things like this one made them "concept kings". So, if you check more of their songs please try to find the details because there is always some.

The one who did the contemporary dance solo is N, their leader. He is professionally trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hip. I believe he also has a degree in performing arts and i gotta tell you this man has some of the most beautiful lines i've ever seen in any kpop idol.
