Man do I love seeing these trucks, this one a bit cooler being a bit smaller. That's a cool trick they do with the packer to keep carts without catchbars falling into the hopper.
Hot damn, that was a speedy crew! Who needs ASL's when you got guys that move like that! ESD's Pak-Mors are definitely on my to-do list for my next trip to Cali, I'm kicking myself for not trying harder to hunt one down when I was there last summer =(
I was wondering if I might see a newer Pak-Mor which actually has a quick packer cycle, but nope, still very slow, though it looks like they might've trimmed a couple of seconds off maybe? The CCC still sounds good as all the SD ones do. The single tipper is a waste of potential for these guys - would be better if they had 3 tippers sitting on the rear, plus another RL behind them to load up :D Good vantage point around the middle of the video getting a higher angle of the hopper floor.
Awesome video! Does ESD even use that pusher axel on the asl trucks? It seems rather useless and unnecessary for the size of the body. I would think the chasis is strong enough to support the heavy weight.
EPIC! Great job!
