I am new to your channel and really like what I see, you have a great approach. What is good is that at last we have some expert opinion, and a font of knowledge for us amateurs to draw upon.
Ah, Watford Junction to Milton Keynes on BVE...those were good times. Birmingham Cross City, the Northern Line, Sandymill to Balfearn, Network West Midlands, and the Southernised Sandymill - Blighton to Treston Park. Man they were so good for the time, heck, some of them still hold up well.
I mostly can go fairly high on graphics, but not on the 710. I’ll see what happens tomorrow. I’m reliving a trip I did in 2017. To Watford Junction in an overground, visiting the Harry Potter museum, then back probably on a 377, don’t remember. Looks nice with working lifts and so on.
Unit deselect switch is used on short platforms as sort of a primitive SDO, where two units are coupled, the guard would key in cab 3 on the DKS and deselect from there. This would cause only the leading unit's doors to open.
Hi richard, thanks for the video. The game looks good so far, I just hate the driving pov for the 350, nothing you can do of course, i'm just not sure eye level would be that high up IRL
Well, I sometimes wonder if the cramped cab workspace - because gangway - is/was a cost saving measure? Meaning, only one guard needed when two+ sets are coupled, such things? Then again, I don’t know if UK rules demand more guards due to other factors (train length, pax capacity etc.). That said, new European locos (e.g. Vectron) or xMUs (e.g. Flirt) don’t have side windows anyway, gangway notwithstanding. I’ve understood that _some_ operators (owners) have had their units reconfigured on delivery with side windows and old school rear view mirrors… Great info as always, thanks…! 😊
Can anyone shed some light on the new game please? Had early access, which I think was a complete disaster as all the game did was crash. The 17th comes along and none of the dlc would move over. Move onto the 18th and all my dlc has finally moved over, but here’s the issue. There’s no sign of any Bakerloo trains or Overground trains on the WCML and neither is there any sign of a 377. I have watched many vids and read that these will layer in, but no, absolutely nothing appears. What’s going on?

Thanks Robert. Happy to have your here and welcome to the community.
5:41 Siemens flying saucer sound 😂 I'm not going to forget that next time I hear it
A signalling video would be great dadrail!
That actually sounds pretty cool 👌 think il be getting this route! 👍

Absolutely. Got a couple of those on the channel.

It does show tunnle names you just have to zoom in a bit, loved the vid by the way!

Not just on this vid, but on others I’ve seen of this simulation on TH-cam - a very brief split second stall every so often when travelling at speed.
I really hope in the future we can get the class 57's as thunderbirds for the Pendolino's.

The sounds on this are good it’s the Seven Hundred which is wrong
Just bought it and dowloading 295GB 😮
Euston is actually a 25mph arrival station to clear the throat quicker. 15mph boards shouldnt be there.
Good to know, and it makes sense especially with the length of the pendolinos.
Is this with the standard edition?
Can the Bakerloo trains be used in this route??
couldnt watch the video, TH-cam insisted on 3 minutes of pre-roll ads.

If you’re playing on older gen consoles you won’t get those layers as the consoles can’t handle it.
@@DadRail Oh dear! I’ve paid the same and got less then? Kind of wished I’d not bothered now. Very disappointing
