@@daberry9159 played a decent amount between phantom knights and some crappy version of heroes, took a break just to do other stuff and now trying to learn or even BUY the new decks just seems like a lot, that’s kinda the reason for the last while. Although I do play a LITTLE on simulators.

I like how people just looked like they built BETTER decks during this event. Like I could say "I can't believe they drew THAT card" and then I look at the deck profile and I could have said that about 90% of the main.
That's a lesson I have to teach people time and again. NEVER, under any circumstances call the opponents cards. Manifestation and the heart of the Cards are real. It WILL bite you in the ass when it's peak inconvenient.
Sometimes, I think that, with the amount of searching and recursion available, YGO would benefit from just becoming a singleton format permanently. And then I remember some decks like eg. Tearlament are broken even when they play 1 of each and the opponent gets to play 3 of everything X)
How did no one in chat recommend mudking of the swamp, any of the poly subs, flufful engine, tear engine (for absolute zero or esqudardo), or even a despia engine would have made this better.
