I like the Tryout Events but the reward being one free booster makes it a bit bland, kinda wish you could at least keep winning for extra Legacy Packs at least
@@WilliamReginaldLucas 1 free pack is nothing when it takes around 50-80 packs to build a single deck even with 3 of all the staples in-game it roughly takes 2-4 events to make 1 deck and half the events are rank up events that don't give new players a advantage or a loaner deck. It's even harder explaining to a new player that they need to build meta to get gems because everyone I know in real life 100% of them don't like meta they build 1 deck from the past lose over and over and quit.

So for 15:26. Skull Invation doesnt activate, it just happens once that condition is met, as shown early on, despiting winning the duel, it still did the burn damage effext
I imagine the Dinomorbia player's plan was to use the trap that negates an opponents effect and then sets the damage they take for the rest of the turn to half their LP.

I used an anti-burn deck built around Prime Material Dragon, Des Wombat, Rainbow Life, and several other cards to combat burn. So many duelists just immediately surrendered when I summoned Prime Material Dragon. It was awesome. I love burn events, and that's why I keep that deck around.
I messed around with Chicken Game for like 3 games till I changed up my strategy in the event.
This is so hilarious, I know it's a lot of effort from you, but I'd like more videos like this.. each funny event I mean.
I also used my 2nd acc to play Trickstars with dark room and it was really fun
This event was SO fun. I got to just play one Soul Levy, and let my opponent (running RDA) FTK themselves. I had Mahaama in hand and they didn't have a way to get rid of my cards until they summoned Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, but the three mill from summoning HRDAAb was what cost them the game.
Burn is so much fun, and you can really feel it with MD's animations.
Master Duel should add these silly events in Duel Room.
I miraculously did not meet any burn deck in this event...

i loved this event, went with my Dogmatika ritual and it was probably the funniest event i ever had in MD
For that last duel you could've used Present Card towards the end then followed with Card Destruction.
The highlight of this event for me was a blue eyes player using memory of an adversary to negate my direct attack with a gryphon rider only to die to the burn cause he had 2600 lp left XD
This was definitely a very interesting trial to say the least.
I myself played my Vaylantz deck (an actual deck not the weird floodgate one) since Pendulums dont go to grave for you to take damage. Beat Meta and burn people alike.
I once stunned an entire trickstar deck using phantasm spiral deck
The ideal setup is skill drain,sea stealth ll, and pacifis the phantasm city
Once this is setup and you get one token theres not much they can do even the spells and traps lose a lot of effect and any potential game changing card you can just pop it with phantasm spiral battle that pacifis will search once your opponent attempt to activate any effect
Edit:your own spells and trap will have some protection from sea stealth ll which will tribute your token for protection and pacifis will just summon another token once your opponents card that attempted to destroy your spell or trap resloves
I played self ftk just to see how fast my life points could fall. My favorite moment was nuking a stun player's backrow with white veil then dying in the endphase due to goku en/veil.

Midway through playing this deck I realized it was slower than the tax dragon.
I only played one game this event, but it was hype as fuck. Ended on 200 LP while playing Numeron OTK

Honestly I kinda forget it *does* work on the opponent's cards sometimes because that's the only time it's been used

Skull invitation is not an activated effect... it just happens. That's why sales ban didn't work, and why you won mid-chain in the last game

I used Nurse Burn in the event and this was the ONLY deck that gave me any problems

There are multiple reasons Sales Ban wouldn't work. The first is that the card doesn't activate once it's already face up on the field, and the second is that it only stops your opponent's cards, and you also have a Skull Invitation on your field that would still burn you
Sales Ban also works against your own cards, it says it right there: "The same restrictions apply to you, but for the rest of this Duel instead of just this turn."
The part where you said that Skull Invitation is continuous is the actual correct answer.
I qued up into this event using tear and then I actually read what the trap card did💀man. Why can’t Konami be cool and let us dismantle cards for 1:1 rather than 3:1.
While i agree that 3 days is the perfect time for rules like this do these events suffer under: i won't craft 10 urs for a 3 day event do have a deck that is more funny than just playing my normal deck and ignore the added rule

Burn is actually one of the Top 5 wincons in the entirety of Yugioh. MD isn't worth playing, but this video and this event were still hilarious to watch.

If you play on steam you can check recent players and block them lol
I do this to kashtira players and other bullshit meta slave decks
To clarify blocking them black lists them from any of your future multi-player sessions no matter what it is

Nice, I went with Trickstar Striker, forgot to include the Present Cards but still won anyway.
Having TWO direct attacking options at a moment's notice(Hayate and Lilybell) to close out games after people burn themselves to death with their main plays and some hand traps is pretty useful.
To be honest I got lucky and didn't run into burn but for this event I just played floo. Can't get burned for a card that isn't sent to the gy.
I do cpu vs cpu tournaments on my channel, and while i do have some burn decks i try to keep them a little tame with the burn. i am glad there are not to many anime/manga characters that do not use to many burn cards.
