This is a club review with a difference, you'll see loads of Callaway X-Forged UT iron reviews coming up as they will be very popular, Rick Shiels, Mark Crossfield, Peter Finch, GolfMates will all look at these irons... so I thought id take on a few different handicap golfers with them... lets do it... and lets do it now!

I’d like to see a utility iron comparison with Callaway, Titleist, Srixon and Taylormade
Thanks James .. we cant tell the spin rate, launch angle, .....etc so a review in studio will be very helpful. But this review was great to see proper turf interaction in wet condition; as we saw your third shot that was little fat went 150 yard. I think sole is little too thick for my taste as it slows down my club head speed through rough. Great video as we enjoy seeing it all

I'd like to see an indoor review as well. Clubs look nice, I like the industrial look though. I'll have to try them when the local pro shop gets them in

Think it would be better to take these to a grass range with launch monitor first. Then out to course with all your clubs with the boys. Pick holes that require these clubs for to real shots. Lovely Sunday here in US watching you guys having fun. Have a pint for me when you get in.
I game the Callaway Apex forged 16's. They have the best feel of any irons I've ever used. The 6 iron in the set is 27 degrees. I'll be getting the Callaway X Forged UT in the 24 and the 21 degree. It matches up perfectly in looks and lofts with my Apex irons. I'll be replacing my 4 and 5 irons.
I do enjoy an on course club review, I would like to see the numbers from an indoors review
I like the on course reviews. It's only useful to me, though, showing how the clubs are used in situations they are intended for. Like, I like seeing how utility irons work off the tee, approaches into long par 5s, or for low shots in the wind. 100 yard approach shots or putts? Not so much. But I like this review and just watching the golf. Thanks!

Great fun vlog, I'd like to think I could play the UT's but in reality my swing speed is to slow. 1st game back after broken collar bone I took 5 clubs out 5 wood 7 and 9 irons square strike wedge and putter and was 3 over through 9 holes, I think handicap golfers have to many clubs to choose from so I was surprised when you played as well with the UT's as with a full set👍😊
I could use them for sure. I’m currently using a Lynx Parralax 2i. Still works but a Mishima will punish you big time. After this review, I’ll consider the Callaway UT’s. I already play the Steelhead XR’s.

Would love to see how they compare against Titleist U500! Doing a battle of all the similar type of iron hybrids like p790 udi and srixon all mixed would be class!
The problem is none of these clubs have the same shafts in them

TMB is still the OG club but I’m curious how this club feels with the 1025 carbon steel. Got to put a graphite shaft in that bad boy and test it out

They look very similar to my steelhead irons. Callaway irons rock.

Dont like the looks of them , like TMs and Srixon but i think i will stick with my MP - H5 s in 1 and 2 iron along side my full set of 3 to PW in MP 5 s💪💪💪👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂
I’m currently playing the x forged cb 6-pw also got utility in 18,24 and 27. I love these clubs. It’s absolute butter

Look is like my old Mizunos with titanium insert. Industrial as James stated is good discription not sleek like Mizunos.
Less offset than any of the others= bought.

I have played mostly Callaway irons for the last 25 years...and I think that these may be the worst looking irons they’ve made in 10 years.

They look kind of like a rip off of the Taylormade 750’s & 760’s

Why do you yell “fore right” or “fore left” and not just “fore”? If you hear “fore right” do you have any idea of what that means relatively to where you are on the golf course? It must be a UK thing!

@@dabdias to be honest every person I know does it Daniel. So not as strange as you think. Massively helps people process where the shout comes from and elongates the shout
@@JamesRobinsonGolf I never played golf in the UK, and never heard “fore left” or “fore right” in the US (and I do hear many “fore”). One of the first lessons I had in golf was to cover my head if I hear “fore” and not try to figure out where the ball may be coming from. I get the cultural part, but I still find it funny to think that people try to process the left and the right part to decide if they should cover their heads or not.
I'm a brit and I agree it doesn't really make sense to add the left or right especially as our courses often have holes running parallel but facing opposite directions so anyone likely to be in the line of fires left and rights will be different from the person shouting.
Played Callaway irons for years. Loved them. But these are ugly.
