- Sonic Frontiers was a pretty good game released in 2022, however their were a lot of issues that kept it from being the best it can be. Thankfully over the course of 2023 SEGA released 3 updates for Sonic Frontiers so I think it's high time we go back and see if the game holds up and is better with the new updates!

I also wanted to say that the reason this video is kinda different is because I've always wanted to try writing stories. Ever since I was a kid I loved doing it! Recently, I have been kinda getting a spark again. So I kinda wanted to try writing a fairly "cinematic" storyline and not just "haha TH-cam lore"

gonna be real with you here, I didn't quite understand the parody story you had going on along side the review itself. However, I appreitate the editting, voice work & sprite animation put into this. You must've worked really hard on this, well done Nitpicker.

Man. I was not expecting to be more invested in the barrier story than the Frontiers review, but I am SUCH a sucker for cheesy underdog hero stories

This video was def worth the wait. The lore stuff was an awesome add on to the review. And for the review I liked how optimistic you were about this game even though you acknowledged its flaws. While I have become more cynical of frontiers I won’t deny the enjoyment I had and still have with the game. Great video dude can’t wait to see what comes next

@NitPickerYT i Feel like The Sonic Devs Could Add 1 More Free Update Just For The Settings like. 1: Slider Brightness! 2: Adding ACTUAL Graphics Settings in Graphics like 60/4k Fps To Make The island Grass & Stuff look like The PC Version. Finally 3: Changeable Controls. (For Nin.Switch I’m Talking Bout)
Hopefully Sega GIVE Sonic Team Even MORE Time To Put Good Effort into Sonic Frontiers 2 Like: Adding These Settings in Frontiers 2. Fully Connected Bigger islands. 3: Making Frontiers 2 As The Sonic Movie,Each island is The Whole City. 4: On How You Can Enter These islands By Using The Movie Portal Rings.
I think that either gens, lost world, or forces are the best looking sonic games. For unleashed, its mixed. Some places have compressed textures, and the framerate didnt need to suffer to compensate. So i respectfully disagree

From my experience, no. Well actually it did have some improvements so yee, but as a whole, no, still the same. I have not finished the Final Horizon, I’ve only beaten the new characters section and the levels weren’t fun to play but the gameplay was, I wish Tails had a homing-attack.
I don’t like playing it much. The worlds are not fun to play around as it's janky and the ground isn’t smooth, boring and annoying enemies that mess with the cameras and mini-bosses that forces the gameplay to stop to have the camera pan to it, boring puzzles, don’t like Cyberspace because of the stiff controls,
Pinball in Chaos Island stinks too.
Drop Dash isn’t fun to use as I can’t move while Sonic’s in ball-mode. The gameplay controls are fine but the world isn’t fun to play as the platforms are usually automated, he sticks to the surface and when he stops running he just stops with no momentum carried.
Boss fights are janky, and the final battle of the original story-mode was terrible.
I just stopped after starting Tails' "campaign"
Couldn't stand this game any longer.
