    I really have to thank you for these great videos!
    You don't just show some tricks, which are hard for beginners to practice, but you explain techniques from the very beginning. And for me as a beginner this is very helpful because I never saw anybody explaining the training besides the actual techniques. You explain the conditioning and how a beginner can slowly get up to these special techniques step by step.
    These are really the videos I looked for, so thank you for doing them! I even wish there were more of them because I am so interested in learning kung fu (exspecially the dragon style), so I'd really like to see more of this wonderful training! :)

    I have been looking for someone who can show me the same 5 animals I trained in with the same salutes. It's been 22 years plus since I have done any training. I believe you do the same moves that Sifu Shevlin taught me. I'll be watching and trying to piece the forms back together in my brain. Thank you very much Sifu Dunng!
    Much respect.

    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with the world Sifu! I’m acting as a character in a film series and he is a master of the Tiger, Snake, and Crane styles, so these videos are very helpful for training alongside my taekwondo. Although it is a big ask, I was wondering if other animal styles (Monkey and Mantis) could be covered. Or just progression of the other styles for viewers that seek to move on. Anyways, these are the easiest to understand, and taught in a more modern way (both of which are good things). Keep doing what you are doing!

    Love this form it's straight.forward, effective , simple . I've seen at least 30 different snake forms and out of all of them this one seems more practical with it's application . It's not flashy and dosent have any wasted move. I wounder whats the name of the Shaolin Kung Fu style the snake form came from ? To me it looks kind of like some the white snake techniques.

    • @sifudunng7117
      @sifudunng7117  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for watching. This style of the snake roots from the Choy Li Fut style. It has a mixture of both internal and external training with a focus on how to use and understand the body. This allows for you help analyze and apply what you also may be doing in your other training to understand your own body and movements more.

    • @timstricklin8455

      @@sifudunng7117 that's good I love that style of Shaolin Kung Fu it's a well rounded art . I study back in the ,90s Northern Lohan Shaolin Kung Fu it uses some of the same punchs as Choy Li Fut . I committed about the snake form you was doing because out of the dozen or so forms I've seen over the years this one with out a doubt stands out it's more practical than all the other forms I've seen. I love what your doing keep up the good work.

    can't wait to practice. i've only ever been jumped once, but I'm glad i had trained for 2 years. he was fine and embarrassed to lose after attacking from behind. i only picked the fight to direct his anger at me and away from the smaller guy. i was bigger, though i didn't know. but he also pretended to calm down, and then jumped my back and smashed my skull with his ring-covered hand. from there, the fight was over before i knew it had began. and in truth, i'm glad i didn't practice enough, because the moves i used could have been very bad if they were more practiced. in retrospect, i wish i had used better words to distract, comfort or confuse, instead of antagonism... however, the little guy was getting his face beaten in, his glasses smashed into his face. every fight is bad either way.

    • @SD-de4do
      @SD-de4do ปีที่แล้ว

      one note - this guy planned an attack the next day with 3 friends at a choke point to jump me in a walkway. when i took a fighting stance and told them i was ready to fight with my eyes, they all pretended they weren't up to something and i never saw ANY of them again. XD. ever
