    I purchased lg 512fp dishwasher, 14 plates setting.. it's been two months of purchase.. Dishes were coming sparkling clean. All of a sudden I am getting white casts on all dishes. TDS 412 in my area is almost constant. Earlier machine was running on H2,L2 setting.. Now since the dishes are having white cast, lg service centre has changed the setting to H4,L3, but still dishes are having white cast...TDS within 420 always... Filters are super clean, used vinegar to clean the dishwasher too... What to do now..I am completely tensed after spending 52,k for my machine and getting rough and white casted dishes... Rinse aid and salt all refilled... Still my problem isn't solved... Pls help

    Most frequently , we see the issue of 'Not clean enough' especially with the tea/milk vessels. We are habituated to cleaning those utensila again after taking out of dishwasher, in the impression these greases are beyond the ablity of dishwasher. Happy to see that finish quantum ultimate tablet can get rid of this issue for us. We will be trying out for sure.

    Hy soumya!! Every time i fill water in a glass,cup or mug after directly taking out of a dishwasher ,it shows the presence of some soapy lather on the side of water and doesnt dissolve even when i try to mix by shaking the glass slightly but when i handwash the glases,cups and mugs after dishwashing it and again fill water in it. it looks perfectly clear and fit to drink .It is really annoying..i dont know why it happens only to glasses and not on any other utensils..this doesnt change even after using very less powder...could u please help?

    Nice Video Saumya! Actually its been almost a month and a half that we purchased the Godrej Dishwasher. Started with the standard finnish detergent, salt and rinse aid. Till now there have been very few occurences of white stains on some utensils and that too happens in fast cycles. In long duration programs utensils are coming out very clean and shining. Rinse Aid and Salt are used by the dishwasher automatically and there is no provision of adjusting the quantity for them. Only quantity we can control is of Detergent. So in fast duration programs maybe we need to adjust the detergent quantity.

    I love my dishwasher. My milk boiler comes out sparkling clean and that is usually the most painful thing to clean. My main issue is with the white residue on rice separators, rice ladles and the cookers. I must definitely try the tablets at some point. I've not done so yet because they wouldn't let me change the amount of detergent according to load. Although I must confess that I usually tend to load to full capacity, so probably that shouldn't be a concern. Maybe one of your packs will convert me!

      Need to to multiple loads. If time is a constrain, separate normally used utensils which can be washed in smaller cycles and the heavily soiled utensils can go in the longer cycles.
      Aluminium/wood etc cannot be used here. I suppose the channel has a video on that already.
      Spoons and knives, you can use a basket if given, else a cutlery tray/rack would be there in the top rack for them.
      For the last issue, what I do is that I stack as many utensils as I can. Like stack all plates/glasses, then smaller kadhais go inside larger ones. And then I take them to the kitchen and place them appropriately.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sakshi, most issues you highlighted are logistical issues, some of which I face too. Let me address them here:
      1. If you have many utensils, you need multiple cycles. Do not overload as then it will not wash properly.
      2. Aluminium can get pitted - so should not be used in dishwasher. Recommend you to replace them if possible.
      3. Are you referring to the main cooker body or the handle? Recommend to keep the handle in top rack. Not sure how nuts are getting loose.
      4. Yes wooden cannot be put in dishwasher as the heat can break the wood. Recommend to replace with stainless steel if possible.
      5. Spoons and knife will go into the cutlery rack if you have one or the dishwasher will have a cutlery container in which you can put those.
      6. This is a logistical issue which even I face. I stack all of them together and take them to the dishwasher in fewer rounds.

    Finish is market leader, around the globe. No doubt, the results are really superior. As dishwasher is no longer a showpiece, a good all in one tablet is always welcome. Very good review of the Finish product, which should come handy to the office going persons, who have no time to look into intricacies of Detergent, Rinse Aid, Salt and water hardness.

      Hello sir... Hope you're doing great. I am currently using AquaFlex as my regular cycle. The major advantage I found in it was it uses hot water even in pre wash, which seems to be giving better results than even the intensive mode. Also, I suppose the more amount of water is also helping in it.

    My main issue was soapy suds remaining in dishwasher (not on dishes) after every use. After browsing google and youtube, the reason was using the standard 30gm as mentioned by detergent manufacturers was way too much for the softened water of Navi Mumbai. So even for heavily soiled dishes I had to reduce the detergent amount by 1/3rd. In fact in Pune in the locality I am staying, I have to reduce the amount of detergent even more. Also with a water problem in the new house, I have been restricted to use the one hour wash cycle for washing dishes.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sreelakshmi, oh yeah, too much detergents can cause that. Is the 1 hour wash cycle sufficient in most cases?

    • @SreelakshmiPrabhakar
      @SreelakshmiPrabhakar 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheGrapevineIndia yes in most cases of normal cleaning the one hour wash cycle on the elica is sufficient as it has all the cycles of prewash, wash, rinse, dry(which is not so much as the intensive or the eco and does not harm dishwasher safe plastics or items like my hand blender wand part). This mode was always my go to mode even in Navi Mumbai. If I wanted to wash plastics like my water filter that were non dishwasher safe, i would use the quick wash cycle of 30 minutes.

    Wow, I did have the white stains on my cooker as well, but thought it was due to the starch or may be being overcooked etc... Never occurred to me that it could be because of salt and it might be fixed by switching to these tablets. Interesting... May be I get the giveaway, or may be I'll have to buy it... But definitely gonna try it.
    Used all in one max tabs btw, but these quantum ones, I got a couple of similar tablets, but different coloured ones along with the dishwasher as a sample which had a different kind of shine and sparkle. The all in one max tabs still give that white residue on the cooker, so gotta try these.

    White stains solution:
    I have extremely hard water and initially when I bought the dishwasher I have realised that there was white residue on the vessels. Another a period of time I hit my items moment when I realised that the white residue doesn’t appear when I remove the dishes immediately after the dishwasher cycle is complete because at that point of time the dishes are dried due to final stage of heat cycle. Now if I leave the dishes longer after completion of cycle, due to presence of heat inside the dishwasher it starts Precipitation due to which water stains form and end up in to white stains

      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a good point you make. Somebody else also told me about it. I believe that’s the reason some newer dishwashers are coming with auto door opening tech after the cycle is complete. Will share this tip in next video on this topic! Thanks again!

    Hi Saumya, sorry about asking this question now. I have a Hafele 8 plate dishwasher. Off late I am noticing that many of my steel Vessels like tea Vessels, bowls have scratches on the outside. I usually put the vessels at a 45 deg angle in the front with the rim of the second vessel resting on the bottom of the first and load the plates straight. I don't see how they can rub against the sides when I load them like this and get scratches. What could I be doing wrong? BTW I was thinking abt asking this question to you each time I saw the scratches and this video came at the perfect time :)

      Which detergent/salt/rinse aid are you currently using? Ideally this could happen if salt cap is not properly fit, causing salt to come out and scratch the utensils.

      Hi Swati, streaking is a common problem too and that's likely caused by the water flow from the dishwasher fans (in addition to the salt as Anil mentioned). Are you using rinse aid accurately like I showed in the video? Vessels that don't dry properly come with streaks and a rinse aid helps with that. Secondly - have you cleaned and descaled your dishwasher recently? It's required to do that atleast once a month to make sure your spray arms are clean.

    How to make sure there's no white residues? Also, is there a way to differentiate genuine finish products from fake products when ordered thru Amazon or Flipkart. Plastic shdnt be loaded because it might melt, but what's the reason behind aluminium to be avoided?

    • @AnilKumar-lf5jt
      @AnilKumar-lf5jt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For genuine, you can just ensure the sellers are Cloudtail or Global Brands ltd.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Nandini, like I mentioned in the video - one of the large factors for white residue is the water hardness levels and your salt setting in the dishwasher. Like mentioned by Anil, you should make sure the seller has good reviews or look for the Amazon fulfilled logo. Dishwasher safe plastic can be loaded - but preferably in the top rack where heat is lower. Aluminium can get pitted (you can see black dots / small holes) which makes Aluminium not good for consumption.
