If non stick utensils not to be used in dishwasher then how to clean pressure cooker, which is made up of aluminium and widely used in our daily Indian cooking? Same for Kadai, steel made kadai has drawback of burnt of curry/items while cooking, so we use non stick. Now for dishwasher if non stick utensils can be used then for kadai other than steel made kadai what to be used? You have missed out an important factor, that is, water hardness. Not every dishwasher works the same way with water hardness and quality being different from locality to locality. One should test their water in a water/food testing lab and find out the hardness, adjust the salt setting in their machine accordingly. I am a beginner of using dishwasher (5 months) but I am surprised how come you missed being an user for 2 years. 1. Water hardness, 2. Proper drain outlet (to prevent back flow of water) 3. Proper detergent (if Finish works for some, it may not work for some. Detergent depends on water quality) Whatever quantity you have used is too much detergent. 25g is the max. Also people should look for auto resume functionality. Without this, dishwasher is useless. Bosch, IFB, Voltas Beko are some of the manufacturers providing auto resume.
