Glad to see someone who knows the backwards hat has business only inside, never outside where they burn their face up. It's advanced stuff to know to wear the hat--bill forward when outdoors. Great video, cool fish.
Nice video I just came back from Baja California and we caught 35 dorados with 4 people and had 6 lines all bitting at the same time was also my 1st time catching them amazing experience
Right buds , way to go brothers!! Another epic video , totally enjoy watching and really gets me hyped! Hey what's the limit on dorados , let me know. Tight lines and million Likes 👍 Thanks for sharing 👍
Brother I went Out multiple times last summer for dorado and found em every time. First time skippering out boat offshore. Every single time could not get a damn sniff. Going for redemption this summer. We are slipped in Dana Point. I guess if they arent chewing the live deans chunking them sometimes work.
They can definitely be frustrating sometimes when they dont want to eat. Slow trolling on light line with small hooks sometimes works for us. I have noticed that early in the morning they bite best, ones that I spear when they have lockjaw have their stomachs completely full.
GREAT video good sir! It'd be awesome to get out on the water with ya!! Let me know if you ever need some company! Much respect and support from Yuma, AZ.👍👍
Soo sick! Pretty amazing we can get these fish in our local waters right now. Went out last week, breezer after breezer. was wide open. Sick vid man! You've been infiltrated by botz!
Love the content!! Me and my lady just got into surf fishing and we want to get on a charter somewhere out of Long Beach, marina del Rey or Oxnard. Do you have any suggestions on any to take or any advice in general? Our plan is to eventually get a boat that we can take out to Catalina but have no idea where to start. Thanks dude!!
Starting on the charter boats is definitely a good idea! Ask the deckhands questions and watch anyone on the boat that seems to be catching more than everyone else. They’re usually happy to share info as well. 10 percent of the fisherman catch 90 percent of the fish
In Malta 🇲🇹 (Europe)we catch the mahi mahi at a very young stage it a common traditional fishing for what we call “Lampuki” as they pass from our sea around August September to migrate to costa rica and Indian Ocean.
You do when they aren’t eating sardine and are keyed in on 1/2 inch anchovy. Only way we could get the bites is with a handful of chummed sardine and casting a hooked one at the same time. But you were there so you’d know. SMH
@@fluentfishing - same scenario for me yesterday. Had to go down to 15lb test flouro leader and small hooks and a good lively bait. Sardine and mackeral worked well. They would not touch a jig.
I love mahi. Thanks for sharing another great video!
They’re awesome fish!
You can filet the mahi all the way the up to above the eye. There is some good meat up there. No taco left behind. Great video.
haha I like that, no taco left behind!
Love the clean !!!! ambidextrous!!!
Thank you!!

Check out the Speed Twin in Oxnard. It's a great boat to start on, great crew and tons of space to fish even when the boat is full.
Sick brotha, when are you guys going out again lets buddy boat
Probably next week. never hurts to have extra eyes on the water!
Sick video guys! Keep posting
What area you guys finding them dodos?
Thanks for watching. They are honestly everywhere right now haha
How many filets per minute can you do?
What’s the limit on dorado? On the us side

Love your videos man, A lot of shit out there but you are a pro
I appreciate that thanks David, looking forward to making more videos for ya'll
you dont need to chum when there is a baitball the size of a football field around your boat. What do you think they are boiling on. SMH

@@ultimatejay You also chum to try and get the school to stick to your boat not off chasing its own bait ball...
Bro!! Can I go fishing with you!! I'm is west covina. I'll help pay for fuel and bait of course.
Will you take me fishing ill pay gas and beer 🍺 😁
Catching a dorado is the last thing on my bucket list. You manage to make it look very boring.
