Eido and his team participated in second Deadlock Core Tournament recently. Opposing team banned Pocket and picked Paradox themselves. Guess how it went? Maining two characters doesn't work for organized 6vs6. For scrimmage or tournaments you need to be conformable with at least 4-5 heroes.
@@Tonykid7 I wouldn't go as far. Folks are racking up more and more hours in game and find the time to master additional heroes. I don't think it will be any different for Eido. I just find those matchmaking ratings claims funny/absurd, hence the comment. Then if you compare, which has higher skill celling: public game or organized 6vs6, answer is pretty clear. Players partaking in tournaments and scrimmage are less inclined to claim that are the best at playing specific hero, since they rotate between multiple heroes.
yo! thanks for checking out a game of mine! unfortunately i dont take pubs seriously on pocket most the time so im mostly just going for flashy clips or outplays and 50/50 winning or losing. nowhere near how i play in serious tourneys/games. once im able to get pocket in a scrim (never) id love to have you check it out 🙏
I'm glad you liked it, it's fun to look at games from other players, I could feel you weren't taking it too serious. I know how you feel about it getting banned in games / scrims I've had exactly 1 game on pocket in either lol. I'd be down to check out a replay from scrim (if you ever get one lol).
He went Hollow Point Ward over Close Quarters because as Pocket it gives you weapon damage and spirit power in one item early. Gives amazing pressure if you get that and sustain in first few items
Yeah, I think pocket is an awesome hero because he can be played so many ways, so much freedom, creativity and expression on this character it's awesome :)
This is why I appreciate the lane boost nerf, doing a huge misplay like that early on and getting a free lane reset that early makes 0 sense. People need to get punished if they make big mistakes like that.
@@RealOne697 I'd say viscous or paradox. viscous has to hit his skillshots in a way that lets ur team still do alot of damage/save someone at the right time. Paradox is an insane skillshot based hero, if u miss ur third spell/ultimate, ur gonna be in a lot of trouble ingame

Or maybe people will never change, in which case I can still be glad that I annoyed them. People who get annoyed about anything LGBT should be intentionally annoyed as much as possible.
If you watch the stream from Eido you get context. Sometimes he plays super late. I dont know from which stream this is but after like 10 hours your brain is just rotten at 3am in the morning
There should be a video in the next few days where I talk about itemisation on pocket and what ones I consider, there's one on my channel currently but its slightly out of date and is unedited from my stream and doesn't cover every item so idk how good it is, but that video covers what I normally build for the most part.
These are high mmr matches, of course people are going to be trying hard and optimizing their resources to win the game. Dont worry, at your skill level, you arent likely to be matched against good opponents so you can feed in peace

he went to grand finals alot in big tournaments tho where notable players like lefa and mikaels plays, even with just lash pocket and paradox
