I recieved an email regarding my opinion that STA is so called "loose". Take note that I'm merely assuming couple with the fact that I've never went to any other inspection center before, so I can't vouch or say how other inspection center is like. STA may be equally as strict as with any other inspection centers. So please3 do not assume that STA is "loose" based on my personal opinions. Also please do not ask me what is legal and not. I am merely documenting & sharing my experiences. Do clarify with the relavant authorities/inspection centers on your own modification enquiries.
I respect you for being honest. Truth is most experienced riders also know that STA sing ming abit more lenient compared to Viacom or even other STAs but official channels won't say because of repercussions like you faced.. but you told it it as it is mate and inexperienced riders are aware now. Respect bro
Stock is really the best way to go. but if legal then best 3 things to change is tires, suspension and reusable air filter. exhaust doesnt change much without a tune but depending on model has good weight savings
Hi Farhan, how did you find out if your exhaust is approved by Honda? Usually ppl go through shop, is there a other way to buy exhaust on your own? Especially the rare ones like Remus etc
Hi there, as you were mentioning about the aftermarket parts to be endorsed by the manufacturer, so where should i go after i purchase theaftermarket parts? Thanks
@@tambakoverlanders And do i get the Certification when i purchase the parts? Or do i need to get it separately? And if so, may i know where are the locations for the manufacturer, thanks lot
Just to clarify during an insurance claim don’t you need to change the stock exhaust since that was the item that is damaged? Would it be insurance fraud if u upgrade your exhaust?

Whats the steps to get the pipe approved again?

Usually, the exhaust manufacturer states that it can be used in that model. Then it's legal. Relevant certs that come with the exhaust are needed.
can buy on your own but need relevant documents from the manufacturer, like emmisions and sound limits. can ask lta for whats needed
Cheers guys! Thanks for expanding my knowledge! 😀
Stock itu indah... See LTA don't need to run
Congrats bro!!!
Does SC Project Exhaust approved?
The inspection priced increased after the years
If not increased it’s not Singapore
@@normanschlongdongovic4124 hahaha agreed 100%
Any idea if there's a list of illegal mods for bikes? The one at onemotoring seems to be more focused on cars.
Its almost the same actually. but from what i know, additionally, additional heavy bodywork, headlamp mesh grills are also not allowed

Make sure there's certification. Also certain models, like PI, and year of manufacture may affect the ability to install it.

Usually the certificate is included when you buy the exhaust. Best to get from shop or dealer

Agreed. Everyone is sooo friendly!!

It would depend on the insurance and the surveyor. for me I asked the workshop if it was okay and they let me anyway, so why not.. heh
