- 2020 Honda Odyssey would not start. On occasion I would see a Low Battery warning. I use the Topdon BT20 battery tester to see if the battery needs to be replaced or not.

you didn't explain properly about real time voltage. is there any link to real time voltage where it says set logging interval, 1second, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1minute and 5 minutes
Great video breakdown, Connected mines and display says LOW. Won't give me a voltage, Could the device be defective ?

@@watdahel fluctuates between 12.5 to 14.5 amps on dash in engineering mode but read that Pontiac G8 GTs have this mechanism. Haven't been stranded yet SO thankfully all good.

If you want to use the app to see everything then go with topdon otherwise konwei shows everything on the device itself.

But what does it do with that? It tries to interpret the voltage drop with the load, correlating a higher capacity with a lower admissible voltage drop?
I don't know the specifics of their algorithm in determining the health of a battery and there are different methods. Here's a quote on how this can be done:
"Battery conductance testers work by sending a small current through the battery, and measuring its electrical resistance; they then use this information along with a mathematical model of the battery (, and any data the user may have input) to calculate the battery’s performance parameters... These tools are called ‘conductance’ testers because the inverse of resistance (one divided by the resistance value) is called conductance, and it is a much larger number than the resistance in the case of a reasonably-sized battery, which makes it easier to talk about."
