AGM or Absorbed Glass Matt batteries, whether they be flat plate or spiral like the Optima are tested in the same manner. So differentiating between the two types is a redundancy that isn't required. Just test as an AGM. I will bring this to the attention of my representative. Zip~
@@ZippoVarga Thanks, I guess voltage per cell is the same for flat or spiral, only CCA might vary. While we're talking about it CCA is a spec of a batteries performance at 0 degrees F, and CA is a spec of a battery performance at 32 degrees F. 99% of the battery testing videos on TH-cam have been bogus because people have been plugging in the CCA spec and then testing at room temperature which give overly optimistic readings since everyone should know that warmer batteries yield higher cranking amps. Therefore unless you are going to refrigerate a battery before testing the better test would be to supply the CA spec when testing a battery at room temperature or outdoors IN THE WINTER or as close to 32 degrees F as possible. Even the manufacturers of the testers videos entirely miss this point!
This item is not yet available. It was sent to me to put it through its paces and give my opinion of it to Topdon. Keep a watch on their Amazon Storefront for it to be put up for sale. Cheers! Zip~
I bought one of topdon tester the small blue one and I like it also keeps up with the batteries you have.
Useful, very useful, even 1 year later. I already have this device and I have to say: one of the best on market. Thanks for info.
Nice I have one of the Topdon earlier battery testers and like it.
Neat stuff, Zippo!
What is the USB cable for? The user manual doesn't explain why it comes with the unit
Software updates
I am surprised no setting for AGM spiral plates which half of my cars have, what do you think Topdons rational is?

Can this system test for things like issues with fuses, any open circuits , abd other diagnostics?
Sorry if I missed it … so what exactly does the BT do beyond what the Tornado does?
One charges, the other checks Rawb. The Tornado is the charger and BT600 is the battery tester and charging system analyzer. Cheers! Zip~
@@ZippoVarga oh, ok didn’t catch that … thankyou ! 👍
Any option to add serial number of batteries?
Can we include our workshop name at the top of the test report?
So what makes it a failed battery
thanks.
how much was it?
🤦

this guy make sleep with his voice, oh man, thanks for your video anyways..
Very big problem is that the date and time is missing in printing information.
It will run out of ink
It's a thermal printer and doesn't require ink
