*Unbelievable!!!* I tried dozens of pretty nerdy fixes (unsuccessfully) before stumbling on this one. "Nothing to lose", I thought ... well ... **IT WORKED!**. I found that after setting up a new (dummy) user, it kicked off/solved the Start menu issue on my other user profiles. This fix remained in place even after deleting the dummy account - so no need to delete the original/corrupted user account after all). Well done (and many thanks!!) to Muhammed :)

Of course, the best way to correct this issue is to make another profile with healthy Start up file. Others videos shows to uninstall the recent update.
I didn't receive an update and yet, I have this error message. We could have download a package or something. It used to not bother me, just right click and shut up down.

Amny Wahida This is probably because you have Home edition of Windows.. the Users/Groups is only visible with Pro edition. You will need to go into system settings or control panel to mange users. You'll need to go the back way, as you won't be able to get to this from start menu. Also, this only creates a new user, does not "fix" the current user profile.

Adam Banks , this isn’t possible in a corporate controlled environment. Only domain users are allowed login, so we can’t just create a random account.
