Awesome video mate! Looks like the Cannon goes like a dream on the beach! We pick ours up some time in the next 4 weeks, so keen! P.s. we’re based in Noosa so if you guysr ever up for a beach trip up to Double Island let us know 👌🏻
Hi Savage, great video. I am watching it sitting here in Canberra with a glass of red looking at a rainy 14.6 degree afternoon. I wont mention that I am in winter PJs, will keep that to myself. LOL. Talk about being soft. I am filled with envy at the beach highway and seeing the Cannon X on the sand. Do you let the tires down at all or does the Cannon cope without it. Also, would have been great to see you tow a Ranger out. A Ranger driver could never come back from that. I notice at the 3.30 mark that the Cannon appears to have a black grill, is that after market or did it get sprayed. I like the look. Oh by the way, i got the accessory list for the Cannon with prices from my dealer if interested. I hear from the dealer tomorrow regarding how long i have to wait till my Blue X arrives.

Wow that ranger looks ugly and it got stuck in the sand pit but GWM dint very cool . Love watching your videos so different n real feel compared to other boring GWM videos... that route to the beach looks like only off roaders are allowed cuz of the path pretty cool
Heya, I’m interested to know if you have driven 4wds before. If so, how does it compare to those models? I’m looking at doing predominately highway driving with a little light off-road and a few beach trips. I’m a little concerned the engine won’t handle getting on and off the beach in the soft stuff. Have put down a deposit on a Cannon L but am a little nervous having steered away from the more notable brands out there 😁
Mate power is no worries for beach work! I recommend keeping in manual and keeping on boost above 2000rpm. I have a tuning box coming soon developed specifically for this model which should gain 60nm 25kw I will do testing when it arrives. If you need any parts please let me know as me and my business partner have different items available in stock.
As for comparing to other 4wd I can't compare as I've always hated the thought of having one lol #covidchangedthat I've owned and driven plenty of European cars on the road and racetracks so this is very different but the fit and finish is top notch in the cabin. The ride is choppy around town like most utes, suspension needs to be improved that's why I'll have two different version lift kits soon, a non adjustable base kit, and a external reservoir with a 2-way damper allows for independent low-speed compression and low-speed rebound control and 2" lift.
@@SavageTechAustralia, really appreciate your insights. I’m not a mechanically minded person- i know it looks good, sharply priced but that about it. Good to know that someone who operates in the engineering/ mechanical space such as yourself has confidence in the product.
