I have two of them. I bought the first one early. Didn't love the focus but did love the image. Then the focus improved... back of head, wait what. It kicks ass all day. RAW on an SD! Beautiful easy to grade, RAW. Yup... until a Canon camera that has a far superior image is dropped, I'm all in on C70.
I currently run with the Sony FX30. I've been looking at the C70 for a while as a possible upgrade. I am looking at other cameras/brands as well. But, the C70 has a lot of great features for the price.
Good video. I have been using my Panasonic S1H for over 4 years now. Still going strong and makes money. I don't get why people need the newest camera unless the improvements are something you can't live without. If it works for you and it still makes you money why get rid of it. Like you, if they come out with a newer version of my camera that drastically improves it, I will use my S1H as a B Cam. I've seen plenty of people who love their Canon C70's. If I was in Canon eco system I would own one even though I like full frame.
