@@Bowskii Yes i understand but its much better than forcing a DNA change on an entire galaxy because its not a decision that one man should make for everyone (Synthesis) and much than turning Shepard into the new catalyst since there is no guarantee that an AI made of Shepard would carry on his good will forever (Control). Also its worth mentioning that the only ending which makes possible for Shepard to survive is the destroy ending with (enough war assets). imho sacrifices had to be made to guarantee the best possible outcome, it was inevitable. as for the geth situation i suggest taking a look at the next mass effect official concept art and leaks ;) cheers.

I completly agree, I've seen lot of playthroughs and this is my favorite!... on other things the way you play you should try Original ME3 Multiplayer, lot of biotic explosions... fun!
It's safe to say this is the best Mass Effect playthrough uploaded to TH-cam. I've seen countless of them and you were the only were who not only cared about the story, but also about how to properly play the game and use the skills. Unmatched quality

there have been many lets plays but this one is so much special because bowskii not only focus on the story but also codex, inworld lore, and doesn't choose dialogue because their "blue". honestly the story of atticus shepard is absolutely amazing.

I felt the same way when I was recording these last few EP I just couldn't believe it was actually over. The voice of the "stargazer" at the very end is actually Buzz Aldrin. I thought that was awesome, especially given that Shepard is named after Alan Shepard, the first American in space.
You might actually be one of my favorite TH-camrs who has played this game. I love your thought process with choices and how you always check out the codex whenever you get the chance. Wish I found this channel when you were first playing the trilogy but better late than never!

@@Bowskii I don't know how much you read about it (probably didn't want to get spoiler-ed), but the way the trilogy ended is still hugely controversial. Many people were/are unhappy with the conclusion. There's even an elaborate "Indoktrination" theory out there, in case you want to dig into that. Anyway, thanks man!

hahaha damn Atticus sure was true down to the core. It was a fitting ending no doubt seeing the Reaper be destroyed was awesome. Its a shame we didn't save the Geth and EDI. That one hurt bad.. Glad you got that first time experience through my eyes. I love doing these LPs I'm very passionate about them and gaming but to hear this it means a lot because just beating these games and feeling them feels are awesome the first time but to get it again is so great.
It’s…over. Congratulations on making it through an impossible choice. I’m so happy I could see this through to the end. I have a love-hate relationship with the ending. At launch there was no epilogue (it cut right after the crew got out of the ship) so people were REALLY mad and speculative: We destroyed all synthetic life, so EDI, the Geth and all ship VIs are gone, which means space travel is over for a while, so Quarians and Turians on earth will starve to death after they run out their own food?! And at launch, if you didn’t play multiplayer you couldn’t get max readiness, so the cutscene shows the explosion killing all the soldiers on earth so it was all for nothing?!!! Haha it was a confusing time, and thankfully they fixed it (after a long time). What an amazing story it ends up being now, no matter which ending you choose, and I’m very happy that there’s always a possibility of coming back to it and experiencing it in a new way. As always, I can’t wait to see what stories and games you’ll share with us in the future. And if the subscriber count is any indication, I’m not alone in that sentiment. I know you said a few times throughout that you would be doing a replay as FemShep, which is sort of like a whole new experience. The direction Jennifer Hale took with Shepard is very different than Mark Meer.

As i'm sure you know by now the earth child did exist and die the Catalyst was using the imagine of the Child to interact with Shepard's consciousness.
This was well worth the wait and extremely well done. The reactions and diesting the story and Lore were great viewing, but for me personally, the combat was off the charts. Thats why I watch these playthroughs for the combat and yours good sir was the best Ive seen, I once joked that you were almost as good as me lol I would be honored to have you in my squad o7, too bad we cant just fire up the Multiplayer with the chat members and have a go. Truly a great mix of cover shooting, Biotics and battle field awareness. I have no higher praise for you than "One of the best Ive seen" So, yes, when Anderson was shot in the endning on the Citadel that was actually TIM manipulating the guns internal mechanisms to fire a round at the Admiral, alot of player dont realise this and just think Shepard shot Anderson randomly for no reason XD its not explained very well but I wouldnt assume he just shot Andersone. Now this part is a member request on behalf of the Community, in about a week, or whenever youre removed enough away from ME3 and "normal" you have to reacty to GAMERPOOP MASS EFFECT, look it up and have fun with it. Youre a good man Bowskii, its been a genuine pleasure to watch and get to know you via gaming, no better wat in my opinion. Thank you for making this community better o7

The only way that Shepard survives is with a maxed-out preparedness score AND the Destroy ending. He kind of survives with the Control ending, but then he also sort of transforms into some weird Reaper God. (There's actually 2 different flavors of the Control ending depending on whether Shepard is a Paragon on Renegade character.)
I liked this ending it was really well done besides the part were I killed EDI/Geth but I do believe in time we can rebuild all we had lost or at least I'm hoping se can.
It's been an amazing journey, mate. You did a wonderful job to fully experience (and help us to do so) one of the best stories in the games industry. So cheers from the opposite part of the planet.

Yeah. This blues you get after reading a great book series, watching a great TV series or playing a great game series is fecking real. It's why we need let's plays lol. I'm a relatively new Mass Effect fan, like you I played the legendary edition. I've watched a few let's plays but you're defenitely one of the best because you didn't just blindly choose paragon or renegade.
its so rough I recorded this yesterday and I'm still really devastated inside atm. I loved this series so much and I totally understand you all wanting to watch more and more LPs they are great things to help us all remember all those feeling we all got the first time. Going through all these choices slowly and picking from the heart made it all feel so much better I'm glad we never strayed from the path and picked as we went and not to one side.

This has been my favorite playthrough of ME I've ever seen! Its been a long ride, thank you for taking us along. ME3 was also my favorite, it was so immersive! I made the same choice of destroy, leaving the Reapers alive in any form felt too risky, and Edi and the geth can be rebuilt in time imo. Just feeling your post ME empiness come through makes me want to start a new modded trilogy run lol cant wait to see more from you o7

I work nights, and it's always good to have something to listen to to get through my shift. Your ME play-through has been among the best I have ever seen. Mass Effect is one of my all time favorite series. Thank you so much, it has been quite the journey. I hope it has been as an amazing experience as it was to all of us who have loved it throughout the years. While it is not nearly as good as the base trilogy, Mass Effect: Andromeda may be a game you might want to consider. The writing was mediocre at best, but the game play is the best in the entire franchise. Not as terrible as a lot of fans like to claim, just not up to the standard the first three games set.

I've been away for a good while, friend, but I fully plan on binge-watching the heck out of your ME Trilogy playthrough lol! Speaking of mods to consider, I can't recommend enough the "Audemus' Happy Ending Mod". If I could only recommend one mod, that would be the one. It can be found on Nexus. Basically it's a VERY well done revamp of the Destroy ending (imho), and my Shepard's personal "canon" ending. I really think you'd like it! =D There's another mod called "Citadel Epilogue Mod (LE3)" which seamlessly adjusts and tweaks the Citadel DLC to take place *after* the main game and post-credits, with no lore inconsistencies. Also that final Anderson conversation can actually be restored to the game using the "Anderson's Final Conversation Restored" mod. Again, all three can be found on Nexus. I salute you, sir!

And thank you for the mod suggestions. I will definitely be modding my next playthrough alot. And if we get more dialogue with Anderson there that is a huge plus. @@Bowskii I also recommend the "Take Earth Back" from Nexus. It adds a lot of new events or cutscenes for the finnal mission and you can actually see yours war assets you gatherd in battle. 😊

Sadly, EDI is dead for sure: if you remember from the Codex, it says that loading the same files of an AI into different hardware creates an entirely new AI because of how they are programmed, not to mention she had Reaper hardware specifically. Destroy is actually one of my least liked endings, but it is by far the most popular: I will say, there's actually several different variations of each ending. You got the "Perfect destroy" ending due to your completionist attitude, good job! There's 3 different control endings, 1 synthesis ending and a 3 variations of the destroy ending. There's also a fourth ending if you reject all the choices in the dialogue wheel when talking to the catalyst, but I'll leave that vague in case you decide to replay 😉 Long live Atticus Shepard: a hero to all life.
really rough stuff honestly since she was one of my favorite character this whole LP and you know how much I just cared for Legion. I feel like I let them down with how we ended it all. Yes I know the reapers are gone but it still hurts knowing that I force the ultimate sacrifice on them. It was a good ending but damn it hurts like hell. I'm interested to see the other ones as well I may make an extra video to see the rest.

@shadowdx2757 thank you and I have recordings of DA Origins and DA2 and half of DAI on the channel but sadly they are not a first time playthrough and are rather old at this point and some of my first LPs. But I will eventually finish DAI before the new one comes out as I really love that series as well.
The main issue i have with "control" is that Shepard basicaly becomes the catalyst. Nothing stops him from reaching the same conclusion in several thousand years and start the cycles again. I personally always go for Synthesis, but it's a personal choice :) Or Destruction, if i run the Good Ending mod.
Synthesis sounded so interesting i feel like any of the choices are a tough one to make and truly all can be the right choice just kind of how you see it. but I am really happy with the one I got I just wish EDI and The Geth survived. I feel like I let EDI and Legion down.
I see two big flaws with Synthesis. Firstly after organics are fully integrated we lose what it is means to be human (or alien). The ticking clock which gives our lives meaning, ceases to exist. Secondly, the catalyst says moments ago that "it is not a thing that can be forced" but then with Synthesis Shepard would still be forcing a change to everyone's DNA - It's like a mass forced conversion therapy. I find it pretty archaic and the fact that the catalyst nudges you towards this choice is very telling. I like your theory about the control ending and agree. Shepard could also lose what it means to be human after becoming god emperor of the universe and start up the cycles. The catalyst says that organics and synthetics would forever be at war without the reapers, but Shepard proved that not to be true after brokering the Geth Quarian peace. So I think destroy makes the most sense.
The death of Illusive Man is poetic. A good closure for that character. You chose the stop well, the other options are empty endings for that character.
Finally got time to watch this and wow it was 100% worth the wait I've already said but wow this was an amazing playthrough. Something to add shepherd only survives with almost max war assets and i believe harbinger didn't shoot down the Normandy because of the reaper IFF. The reason you heard multiple voices when talking to the catalyst is because the voice actor's for both male and female shepherd are saying the lines.
thank you for being a part of the journey through each game its been an absolute pleasure to play this game on the channel I loved every moment of it. But yeah it does make my head spin at how the Reaper ignored them but yeah the IFF would make sense honestly.
There are a few things you should check out! Like the original conversation between Anderson and Shepard before the legendary edition, SO MUCH BETTER. Great dialogue was cut, however, I on behalf of every single living creature in this galaxy want to thank you for remembering what it took to get to the end, while it's a sad and somber end, it's also an epic one. Many people disliked the ending's various colour coded endings, but it makes sense that things would be largely the same at the time of the ending, since after all, the only real difference, the unknown variable, is Shepard. So damn awesome. "I'm proud of you".
Im proud of you! Hearing that was just everything.. Them words will echo in my head for so long.. amazing game series though and this last decision was def the hardest of all to make. I hope in time we can recover who we lost EDI/Geth but only time will tell. Glad to have you all here for this long journey you all have made it very special.
Ahh the perfect destroy ending, lets just say you wouldn't have gotten that cliffhanger breath if you chose the other two options. That or if you didn't have maxed out war assets with destroy. Low/ mid war assets destroy ending can be pretty devastating to Earth

I loved following your Journey my friend, Just like the next ones, I also liked your decision, it's difficult but it was the goal that everyone wanted, Even with the Destruction of EDI and Geths, What bothered me about Synthesis and that few talk about is, What What happens to those who refuse? Since the Catalyst states that it is not something that can be forced, In any case, I also know the difficulty of holding back emotion with the phrase "I'm proud of you" It's shattering, right? Even for me, maybe one day if the trilogy continues you will see the "Blue Children", Since in this ending, Shepard lives.

I try to put myself in Shepard’s shoes. After three major struggles with the Reapers Synthesis and Control seemed too much like Indoctrination. A suspicious little glowy kid would not have convinced my Shepard that either of those options were viable after the events of all three games.
yeah it was all such a hard decision to make. Destroy felt like the right thing to do to guarantee reaper deaths it sure does suck to lose EDI and the Geth though be its good the reapers are dead and gone finally.

I liked your indecision when the time came. But you did good. You stopped the reapers. Hell of a play mate. If you get the chance, take a look into the indoctrination theory. Specifically Shepard's Indoctrination by ACAVYOS. Audio is glitched but he has a mega for the fixed audio.

Congratulations on finishing the trilogy! It's been a good ride, one of the best I've seen even. I kind of hesitated to leave any comments before (because, to be honest, I'm more reserved than I would like😅), but I've followed the playthrough since the early episodes of ME2, and I feel that saying something now is definitely much better than saying nothing at all. Firstly, I love your playing style and how skillfull you are with the combat! You really made Insanity look like an intense, but entertaining walk, and as someone who has recently replayed the trilogy on Hardcore for the first time ever (it was as fun as it was painful), I give you my utmost respect. Even though I am a die-hard Sentinel enjoyer, you really tempted me to make another run trough the trilogy as an Adept. Secondly, I love how invested into the world, the plot and the character you were. Seeing someone who genuinely bonds with all companions and understands their ponts of view even if they do not always agree with the protagonist or have controversial opinions (yes, Kaidan and Ashley haters, I'm looking at you right now) is very refreshing and heartwarming. Your enthusiasm in general is very contagious, because I often couldn't help but smile or laugh along with you😄 And I feel for you in the ending, I really do. I don't remember how many times I've played these game exactly, and I still cry, because Mass Effect 3 just inflicts emotional damage on people. And while you've managed to fool me with your choice of the ending, I respect it, too. I make my choices, you make your choices, and our reasons are equally valid. At least, unlike my Shepards, Atticus can reunite with his friends and Liara, retire peacefully and have many blue children :) Thank you for sharing this beautiful journey with us! I very much enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to any new playthroughs, as your list of future let's plays contains quite a few games I'm also really interested in.

Really great watching you play as always! I really think its the trilogy as a whole that makes this series so great. Each game on its own is good but its the way they come together is special. If you ever play mass effect 3 again I'd recommend the Expanded Galaxy Mod and Spectre Expansion Mod. These mods add new missions, companions, enemies and stuff to read based on the lore and expanded universe from the books. Really makes the game more replayable than it already is.

I'm sure somebody mentioned it already, but your war assets depends on what the ending will do, you got the best destroy ending while depending on your war assets you can only pick one depending if you kept or destroyed the collector base if it's too low.

My all time favorite gaming TH-camr, that's you sir! Sacrificing EDI is so hard. For the record I made the same choice in the end. I don't know what the future of the Mass Effect universe holds. I ended up skipping Andromeda, it just didn't appeal to me for some reason. This trilogy, for me, really is enough. If you decide to play Andromeda I will definitely be here though. @@Bowskii Yes i understand but its much better than forcing a DNA change on an entire galaxy because its not a decision that one man should make for everyone (Synthesis) and much than turning Shepard into the new catalyst since there is no guarantee that an AI made of Shepard would carry on his good will forever (Control). Also its worth mentioning that the only ending which makes possible for Shepard to survive is the destroy ending with (enough war assets). imho sacrifices had to be made to guarantee the best possible outcome, it was inevitable. as for the geth situation i suggest taking a look at the next mass effect official concept art and leaks ;) cheers.

The voice of the "stargazer" at the very end is actually Buzz Aldrin. I thought that was awesome, especially given that Shepard is named after Alan Shepard, the first American in space.

@@Bowskii I don't know how much you read about it (probably didn't want to get spoiler-ed), but the way the trilogy ended is still hugely controversial. Many people were/are unhappy with the conclusion. There's even an elaborate "Indoktrination" theory out there, in case you want to dig into that. Anyway, thanks man!

Glad you got that first time experience through my eyes. I love doing these LPs I'm very passionate about them and gaming but to hear this it means a lot because just beating these games and feeling them feels are awesome the first time but to get it again is so great.

I have a love-hate relationship with the ending. At launch there was no epilogue (it cut right after the crew got out of the ship) so people were REALLY mad and speculative: We destroyed all synthetic life, so EDI, the Geth and all ship VIs are gone, which means space travel is over for a while, so Quarians and Turians on earth will starve to death after they run out their own food?! And at launch, if you didn’t play multiplayer you couldn’t get max readiness, so the cutscene shows the explosion killing all the soldiers on earth so it was all for nothing?!!! Haha it was a confusing time, and thankfully they fixed it (after a long time).
What an amazing story it ends up being now, no matter which ending you choose, and I’m very happy that there’s always a possibility of coming back to it and experiencing it in a new way.
As always, I can’t wait to see what stories and games you’ll share with us in the future. And if the subscriber count is any indication, I’m not alone in that sentiment. Congratulations once more, and good luck out there, Commander.

I know you said a few times throughout that you would be doing a replay as FemShep, which is sort of like a whole new experience. The direction Jennifer Hale took with Shepard is very different than Mark Meer.

As i'm sure you know by now the earth child did exist and die the Catalyst was using the imagine of the Child to interact with Shepard's consciousness.

This was well worth the wait and extremely well done.
The reactions and diesting the story and Lore were great viewing, but for me personally, the combat was off the charts. Thats why I watch these playthroughs for the combat and yours good sir was the best Ive seen, I once joked that you were almost as good as me lol I would be honored to have you in my squad o7, too bad we cant just fire up the Multiplayer with the chat members and have a go. Truly a great mix of cover shooting, Biotics and battle field awareness. I have no higher praise for you than "One of the best Ive seen"
So, yes, when Anderson was shot in the endning on the Citadel that was actually TIM manipulating the guns internal mechanisms to fire a round at the Admiral, alot of player dont realise this and just think Shepard shot Anderson randomly for no reason XD its not explained very well but I wouldnt assume he just shot Andersone.
Now this part is a member request on behalf of the Community, in about a week, or whenever youre removed enough away from ME3 and "normal" you have to reacty to GAMERPOOP MASS EFFECT, look it up and have fun with it.

The only way that Shepard survives is with a maxed-out preparedness score AND the Destroy ending. He kind of survives with the Control ending, but then he also sort of transforms into some weird Reaper God. (There's actually 2 different flavors of the Control ending depending on whether Shepard is a Paragon on Renegade character.)
I liked this ending it was really well done besides the part were I killed EDI/Geth but I do believe in time we can rebuild all we had lost or at least I'm hoping se can.
It's been an amazing journey, mate. You did a wonderful job to fully experience (and help us to do so) one of the best stories in the games industry. So cheers from the opposite part of the planet.

Yeah. This blues you get after reading a great book series, watching a great TV series or playing a great game series is fecking real. It's why we need let's plays lol. I'm a relatively new Mass Effect fan, like you I played the legendary edition. I've watched a few let's plays but you're defenitely one of the best because you didn't just blindly choose paragon or renegade.

This has been my favorite playthrough of ME I've ever seen! Its been a long ride, thank you for taking us along. ME3 was also my favorite, it was so immersive! I made the same choice of destroy, leaving the Reapers alive in any form felt too risky, and Edi and the geth can be rebuilt in time imo. Just feeling your post ME empiness come through makes me want to start a new modded trilogy run lol cant wait to see more from you o7

I work nights, and it's always good to have something to listen to to get through my shift. Your ME play-through has been among the best I have ever seen. While it is not nearly as good as the base trilogy, Mass Effect: Andromeda may be a game you might want to consider. The writing was mediocre at best, but the game play is the best in the entire franchise. Not as terrible as a lot of fans like to claim, just not up to the standard the first three games set.

I've watched over a dozen Mass Effect Let's Plays, but this is the only one that comes close to recapturing the feelings I had during my own first playthrough. I found your channel because of this playthrough and now I look forward to other games you'll play in the future.

You should check out the extended version of the conversation with Anderson at the end, it was cut from the game, but it is awesome.

Bowskii! I've been away for a good while, friend, but I fully plan on binge-watching the heck out of your ME Trilogy playthrough lol! Speaking of mods to consider, I can't recommend enough the "Audemus' Happy Ending Mod". If I could only recommend one mod, that would be the one. It can be found on Nexus. Basically it's a VERY well done revamp of the Destroy ending (imho), and my Shepard's personal "canon" ending. I really think you'd like it! =D
There's another mod called "Citadel Epilogue Mod (LE3)" which seamlessly adjusts and tweaks the Citadel DLC to take place *after* the main game and post-credits, with no lore inconsistencies.
Also that final Anderson conversation can actually be restored to the game using the "Anderson's Final Conversation Restored" mod. Again, all three can be found on Nexus. I salute you, sir!
@serelryk5365 hey no worries my friend no idea why TH-cam is being so difficult with comments lately. I've had a few others say they sent one but it hasn't shown up. And thank you for the mod suggestions. I will definitely be modding my next playthrough alot. And if we get more dialogue with Anderson there that is a huge plus. Enjoy the rest of the playthrough I still wish we had more time left in game but the experience was amazing.
@@Bowskii I also recommend the "Take Earth Back" from Nexus. It adds a lot of new events or cutscenes for the finnal mission and you can actually see yours war assets you gatherd in battle. 😊

Sadly, EDI is dead for sure: if you remember from the Codex, it says that loading the same files of an AI into different hardware creates an entirely new AI because of how they are programmed, not to mention she had Reaper hardware specifically.
Destroy is actually one of my least liked endings, but it is by far the most popular: I will say, there's actually several different variations of each ending. You got the "Perfect destroy" ending due to your completionist attitude, good job!
There's 3 different control endings, 1 synthesis ending and a 3 variations of the destroy ending. There's also a fourth ending if you reject all the choices in the dialogue wheel when talking to the catalyst, but I'll leave that vague in case you decide to replay 😉

really rough stuff honestly since she was one of my favorite character this whole LP and you know how much I just cared for Legion. I feel like I let them down with how we ended it all. Yes I know the reapers are gone but it still hurts knowing that I force the ultimate sacrifice on them. It was a good ending but damn it hurts like hell. I'm interested to see the other ones as well I may make an extra video to see the rest.

But I will eventually finish DAI before the new one comes out as I really love that series as well.

The main issue i have with "control" is that Shepard basicaly becomes the catalyst. Nothing stops him from reaching the same conclusion in several thousand years and start the cycles again.
I personally always go for Synthesis, but it's a personal choice :) Or Destruction, if i run the Good Ending mod.
Synthesis sounded so interesting i feel like any of the choices are a tough one to make and truly all can be the right choice just kind of how you see it. but I am really happy with the one I got I just wish EDI and The Geth survived. I feel like I let EDI and Legion down.
I see two big flaws with Synthesis. Firstly after organics are fully integrated we lose what it is means to be human (or alien). The ticking clock which gives our lives meaning, ceases to exist. Secondly, the catalyst says moments ago that "it is not a thing that can be forced" but then with Synthesis Shepard would still be forcing a change to everyone's DNA - It's like a mass forced conversion therapy. I find it pretty archaic and the fact that the catalyst nudges you towards this choice is very telling.
I like your theory about the control ending and agree. Shepard could also lose what it means to be human after becoming god emperor of the universe and start up the cycles.
The catalyst says that organics and synthetics would forever be at war without the reapers, but Shepard proved that not to be true after brokering the Geth Quarian peace. So I think destroy makes the most sense.
The death of Illusive Man is poetic.
A good closure for that character. You chose the stop well, the other options are empty endings for that character.
yeah its a shame we couldn't turn him back in the end but he was completely lost. He was one of the best written characters in the whole series.
Finally got time to watch this and wow it was 100% worth the wait I've already said but wow this was an amazing playthrough.
Something to add shepherd only survives with almost max war assets and i believe harbinger didn't shoot down the Normandy because of the reaper IFF. The reason you heard multiple voices when talking to the catalyst is because the voice actor's for both male and female shepherd are saying the lines.
thank you for being a part of the journey through each game its been an absolute pleasure to play this game on the channel I loved every moment of it. But yeah it does make my head spin at how the Reaper ignored them but yeah the IFF would make sense honestly.
There are a few things you should check out! Like the original conversation between Anderson and Shepard before the legendary edition, SO MUCH BETTER. Great dialogue was cut, however, I on behalf of every single living creature in this galaxy want to thank you for remembering what it took to get to the end, while it's a sad and somber end, it's also an epic one. Many people disliked the ending's various colour coded endings, but it makes sense that things would be largely the same at the time of the ending, since after all, the only real difference, the unknown variable, is Shepard. So damn awesome. "I'm proud of you".
Im proud of you! Hearing that was just everything.. Them words will echo in my head for so long.. amazing game series though and this last decision was def the hardest of all to make. I hope in time we can recover who we lost EDI/Geth but only time will tell.

Ahh the perfect destroy ending, lets just say you wouldn't have gotten that cliffhanger breath if you chose the other two options. That or if you didn't have maxed out war assets with destroy. Low/ mid war assets destroy ending can be pretty devastating to Earth

I loved following your Journey my friend, Just like the next ones, I also liked your decision, it's difficult but it was the goal that everyone wanted, Even with the Destruction of EDI and Geths, What bothered me about Synthesis and that few talk about is, What What happens to those who refuse? Since the Catalyst states that it is not something that can be forced, In any case, I also know the difficulty of holding back emotion with the phrase "I'm proud of you" It's shattering, right? Even for me, maybe one day if the trilogy continues you will see the "Blue Children", Since in this ending, Shepard lives.

I try to put myself in Shepard’s shoes. After three major struggles with the Reapers Synthesis and Control seemed too much like Indoctrination. A suspicious little glowy kid would not have convinced my Shepard that either of those options were viable after the events of all three games.
yeah it was all such a hard decision to make. Destroy felt like the right thing to do to guarantee reaper deaths it sure does suck to lose EDI and the Geth though be its good the reapers are dead and gone finally.

If you get the chance, take a look into the indoctrination theory. Specifically Shepard's Indoctrination by ACAVYOS. Audio is glitched but he has a mega for the fixed audio.
thank you it was just such a hard choice I just didn't know what to do at the end. It took me a good while to just talk my self through it all. Something called indoctrination theory sounds intriguing lol could you just image holy hell.

I really enjoyed the ending it was rough losing EDI though but I feel like this was the best ending for our Shep.

Congratulations on finishing the trilogy! It's been a good ride, one of the best I've seen even. I kind of hesitated to leave any comments before (because, to be honest, I'm more reserved than I would like😅), but I've followed the playthrough since the early episodes of ME2, and I feel that saying something now is definitely much better than saying nothing at all.
Firstly, I love your playing style and how skillfull you are with the combat! You really made Insanity look like an intense, but entertaining walk, and as someone who has recently replayed the trilogy on Hardcore for the first time ever (it was as fun as it was painful), I give you my utmost respect. Even though I am a die-hard Sentinel enjoyer, you really tempted me to make another run trough the trilogy as an Adept.
Secondly, I love how invested into the world, the plot and the character you were. Seeing someone who genuinely bonds with all companions and understands their ponts of view even if they do not always agree with the protagonist or have controversial opinions (yes, Kaidan and Ashley haters, I'm looking at you right now) is very refreshing and heartwarming. Your enthusiasm in general is very contagious, because I often couldn't help but smile or laugh along with you😄 And I feel for you in the ending, I really do. I don't remember how many times I've played these game exactly, and I still cry, because Mass Effect 3 just inflicts emotional damage on people. And while you've managed to fool me with your choice of the ending, I respect it, too. I make my choices, you make your choices, and our reasons are equally valid. At least, unlike my Shepards, Atticus can reunite with his friends and Liara, retire peacefully and have many blue children :)

It has been such a great ride through these games there was just so much great things I can say about it all and it would still feel like I'm missing things that I need to say.
I felt so emotionally connected to this game like on a different level its crazy. The ending was indeed a interesting choice it hurt so bad to see EDIs face when we destroyed it I wish there was a way to kill the reapers but then again save all the Geth and EDI.

Really great watching you play as always! I really think its the trilogy as a whole that makes this series so great. Each game on its own is good but its the way they come together is special. If you ever play mass effect 3 again I'd recommend the Expanded Galaxy Mod and Spectre Expansion Mod. These mods add new missions, companions, enemies and stuff to read based on the lore and expanded universe from the books. Really makes the game more replayable than it already is.
glad you enjoyed this one! It def was a special game series and honestly I'm going to miss it like hell. I just know I wont be able to stay away long before I want to play another run. I will def try out a lot of mods my next run through these games I would love to see the cut stuff and little added on things.

I'm sure somebody mentioned it already, but your war assets depends on what the ending will do, you got the best destroy ending while depending on your war assets you can only pick one depending if you kept or destroyed the collector base if it's too low.
damn so I'm happy we ended up doing decent with them assets lol because it sure could have bit us in the back side I'm sure.

Sacrificing EDI is so hard. For the record I made the same choice in the end. I don't know what the future of the Mass Effect universe holds. I ended up skipping Andromeda, it just didn't appeal to me for some reason. This trilogy, for me, really is enough. If you decide to play Andromeda I will definitely be here though. Looking forward to BG3 and whatever is in store for us next. Take care, man, and we'll see you soon!

Sacrificing EDI was the hardest decision i ever made in a video game ever. It hurts and i think it will always hurt i just wish there was another way and still defeat the Reapers.
I def want to play MEA in time but it will def be a bit so i can recover from this game lmao.
