  • Many times we struggle with challenges and difficulties on our life and then seek advice for solutions. What does G-d expect us to do? Pray? wait for a miracle? or maybe take action? But how do we know what to do to solve our problems?
This and much more in this powerful lecture!

Thank you Rabbi Anava. I like the way you openly say that you don’t have all the answers………. It takes a lot for a person in your position to admit that. May HaShem bless you Rabbi.

I love the story/commentary on Moshe and the stone tablets. I was born on a Yom Kippur Shabbat and the parasha of Moshe descending Sinai with the 2nd set of tablets was read that day and my birthstone is sapphire, so it's a special story for me. Very meaningful for my entire life because I didn't know any of that until I was around 50. Thank you for mentioning that story as well : )

If the mountain is too big then, at the cross road, ask God the path that you should use to climb it or ask God to make the mountain smaller

Right that's the problem with Christian pastors over here in America is they don't tell the people that they need interpret the Bible for themselves they just expect the people to show up every week and the pastor interpreter for them and they think they're all good and they're all saved and everything is hunky dory

What of the theory that if Mose had led the people into the land and built the Temple, it could not have been destroyed, so the people themselves would have had to be punished instead of the Temples being destroyed

three gifts were given to israel, and all were given through suffering:
    1. the torah
    2. israel
    3. the world to come.
    ( Gemara Berachos, 5a).
Moshe knew we had to suffer 40 years in the wilderness to get the land.
    The lesson for today?
Hashem knows we have to suffer in exile to merit moshiach.
Everything worth having only comes through suffering.
