Please do this comparison ... I don’t mean for you to bag Cali , but explain the advantages / disadvantages as you see it over each set up. Also can you do a quick vid of the interior after you have gone to work on it. I’m looking at The 3500 over the 2500 for the increased payload and towing. I know it will not be as nimble as the 2500as it has leafs under the rear, but Cali claim their new leaf pack improve ride quality measurably for a small payload sacrifice. I’m interested to hear your thoughts ...before I drop 100large!
@@toofastnobrakes Look, even if you're right, it would not be "Legally" possible. A lot of people don't realize how deep the government alphabet soup agencies run our lives. I was watching a video and a RAM engineer answered the question of why the PWs didn't come with bigger tires (Don't they come with 33s from factory?) and everyone knows you can put 37s on it without even lifting it. It had to do with some safety requirement crap. Sometimes the OEM can't do much, but AEV and others don't have to follow the same safety guidelines as a car manufacturer... So they get away with the cool stuff. It's just the world we live in. Plus, then insurance companies would have to pay for that expensive truck and the mods etc. I'm sure your insurance won't cover all that crap, they'll just pay you for a regular 2500 Laramie haha. Plus, this AEV is better than the PW. It still has more payload capacity. Don't get me wrong, still love the PowerWagon but this things are a beast. I'd love a 3500XL with the cummins with the DEF delete, and 1 or 2 extra fuel tanks for 2000 miles of range. It'd be a sweet build. Unfortunately my bank account has not caught up with my expensive taste lol.
Dharok lol, believe me your not telling me stuff I didn’t already know. I’m just saying it’s the power wagon we should have got 😂 or had as an option. And legally I know there hindered. But that hasn’t stopped ford or gm from making diesel off-road Heavy duty trucks. I know rams reasoning is weight savings in that department. And it’s true diesel trucks are far less comfortable off-road “needing stiffer suspension” but it should have at least been an option. And as far as tires I know there is no way we would get factory 40’s, but they could manage 35’s without and safety issues. Yet again, fords tremor comes standard with 35’s. I don’t see the epa or any safety regulations stopping them 🤷♂️
@@toofastnobrakes Well, then maybe they were being cheap cunts haha. Perhaps now that ford has come out with the tremor plus the new bronco that is getting a lot of hype. Maybe they will come out with an even more bad ass PW, or the Rebel TRX or something. I'd rather get the AEV Ram, have something that not many people have. I do miss that they don't offer the manual transmission anymore on the Diesels..
Answer the questions folks are asking DAVE!💪🏼🇺🇸
Dave, I wish you guys would do a comparison between your lift and the Cali lifts. I mean get in the details, compare capabilities and ride quality.

Pretty cool👍👍
When will AEV have bumpers, etc. for the 2020 Power Wagon?
This is what the power wagon should be. Could you do an in depth video breakdown of all the upgrades?
yeah but that truck is probably 100k.... Powerwagon is about 55-65k lol.
Dharok if they made it from the factory that way ide say around 70-80k

How tall is it?
Waiting on the brush guard. It's now 2021 and the guard was supposed to be out at the end of 2020. Please tell me when 🤔
Will it have a rear winch soon?
It seems like it could use longer shocks in the rear.
What is the payload after conversion? Same as the dually before conversion?
Sooo when can we actually get one
👍👍👍
How much
Could I still tow my 5th wheel?? If so this is the perfect truck!!! Awesome
Curious what color is that truck? Or is it a wrap?
Me too.. did u find out?
@@WADZUP From what I've read AEV painted it a special FCA color.
@@scottsymons6152 really eh. Love all greens and that really pops. Thinking of doing another build on my YT channel.
@@WADZUP Me too. I currently drive a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro...in army green.
Классная штука. ВЕЩЬ!!!
Dream truck ill call it The Shrek"
Any idea what this official green colour is referred to as?
Sooo... can we see an edit with more offroading capability, and less talking?
Please?
If I’m going to spend 100k + on a truck, LED headlights should be standard.
A wireless microphone at Amazon should cost you guys around 30 bucks.
2 inches of wheel travel? Doesn’t look like it off roads at all. It dirt roads. You never see these things doing shit
All that show and you don’t give manual locking hubs
Power Wagon on 38s it’s way, way better then this…
Go on some real trails following Jeeps.
Then you can say it’s “off road”.
The Subaru Forester could do anything this thing can do.
Dumbass.
