Just installed ours. Not easy for our situation. The bottom center of the back can be pushed back. We are worried this will break the caulking seal once applied. There should be a support there or something??
Any suggestions or help for getting our plumbing right side panel unstuck? It is almost in, about an inch from locking in, but we cannot get it to move/unstick to take it out and look to troubleshoot. Help we have been trying to get it unstuck for 24 hours.
Just letting everyone know that this does not work well to install around existing plumbing. It helps if the studs are clear and reachable for the plumbing to be installed after the walls are set
I just went to the Maax site but did not find nextile. Then I changed the language from ENG to ENG (Canada) and the nextile appears. Will this be available in the US soon??
@@maaxweb ive didn't use caulk at the tub seam since my tub has lip/ edge to it that goes up the wall , so the surround sits right on top of the tub not the flange i think its called. my builder said this is good/ fine since caulking will turn black. would this be ok? i caulked only the vertical seams for looks

I know your comment is two years old but what was your solution, if any? Have the same problem with mine
Wouldn’t a silicone gasket behind the spout and faucet be a better idea

Is the back wall supposed to.bow out?
Unfortunately yes. I just saw mine and I’m going to cry for the next 5 days but will eventually recover.
Does this also come in 60 x 48? 48 D?
First one I returned had a stain, tried it second time, was cracked and scratched. Not trying it a third time.

We are installing now and are completely hung up on our right side wall where we have plumbing.
Mine went in like a breeze. If you opening isn't level and square it will be a hard install!

Hi Valerie! Could you clarify your question so that I can answer it more accurately? Are you asking if NexTile can be installed with a shower base?
how much
Is this caulkless
No, silicone is used to seal joints and faucets. Please refer to 3:18 in the video.

Mine installed perfectly. Now I need to tile the inset
Hard to install, not ideal by any means.
Wow. How convenient that the facet disappeared during the installation. Not real life, mate. Doesn’t work
Do NOT buy this garbage! It bows in the middle and looks really stupid. It looks nothing like the photo. What a mess. Horrifically designed.
