The tracks wouldn't need anti slip sanding if the rails were properly laid, on a straight, flat trackbed. The engine might take a load a bit easier if it didn't have to fight all the friction from twisted rails -_-
You are correct however these systems are changed so often that a perfect trackbed is not possible. These tracks might be moved anytime to reach a new seam .
It is the new Chicago/St Louis High Speed rail. Costing only three billion dollars. It will be called the Coquille D'escargot in honor of the French designer. Construction was slowed because qualified bucket men for the spreading of sand was limited by accidents, some of the bucket men were to slow and were getting run over..
It all kind of depends on the perspective of the camera shot. the railway might not be as bad as it looks as long as it stays in guage and relatively even across the railheads. I think back on the geared shays that traveled the timber railroads in the US. The trackage they used was probably much worse and shifting around as the ground froze and thawed. I only wish my model railroads would stay on the track the way this little industrial train does.
That train is beautiful 😌😌
Does this railway have the concept of track maintenance?
I want to drive the train

telephoto lenses make it look much worse, because they compress the image!
Eine wunderschöne Gleislage !!!
what model locomotive is that too btw?
Did that guy just push the engine at the curve so it would stay on the rails?
Peat is dug from old mire so the earth is soft and tracks easily end up looking like this.
I wonder if there's a speed restriction.
Excelente vídeo!!! Parabéns!
Sehr gute Aufnahme.
Can not believe she doesn't jump track !
Neue Filme nur noch im neuen Kanal JOKABerlin2020
...Thank you for traveling with Deutsche Bahn...

Amazing!

That looks like some of the CSX track in Brunswick, GA. LOL
So hard this loco and very difficult.
adhesion to the rail to stop wheel slip
Einfach geil...
this is the CSX defered maint. test track
don't tell me they're out there throwing sand on the rails in front of it... mercy!
Just get a tractor. Smh. Those rails look like they were laid by a 3 year old.
it is no longer definable as a railway ..
I think the drive might need a neck brace.
If that were Thomas the Train he'd be sayin'....Oh man! Not this sheeeet again...!! :-)
that is called Curl Railways..lol..:)
Linha terrível
Ah Polish high Speed Rail!

Probably the most depressing railway I will ever see lol
Takie rzeczy tylko w Polsce:-)
Fix the track bed. The way it is, is pathetic.
they just forgot the ballast... lol
Seriously bad rails.....
What a terrible train track!!
Terepjáró vonat. Krómozni kellene,és ráengedni az autópályára,hogy megmutassa mit tud! Hajrá,ne hagyd magad!
