I found my 2017 with a puddle of coolant below the radiator after Sunday's ride.... It looks to be leaking from the same area at 2650 miles. I can't tell exactly till I pull it off. I'm going to wash it tomorrow and get it removed. I checked the price on KTM parts and I almost had the big one at $800.00 dollars! I'm hoping to repair mine as well. Great video!
are you sure its not just from the overflow tank? Did you recently fill it> When I prepped my new 2019 before Mexico, I had two days of riding with antifreeze smell and puddles, but then it stopped once everything was in balance again.
@@telerover it's definitely a leak. I pulled the guard on the front and it's coming from near the center, right about where the frame is for the cooling fan. Either the second or third tube down.
Hi Mike from an Australian mechanical engineer. I'm lovin' your channel. In this video I got to thinking about adding a KTM radiator support/guard like you have. But the price is not much less than a set of lower crash bars (KTM or Outback MotorTek). Did you think the guard you have helped minimise your radiator damage?
It looks like that electrical connector was rubbing and caused the leak. Thanks for the videos... going to check mine.
Excellent fix, good to go now.

@@nathan4wvu think about it is just a radiator like all radiators a shop can repair 90% of the time
