Hey guys in this video we'll show how to perform motor mounts replacement on f10 2011 bmw 528i with n52 engine. Worn out motor mounts can cause a lot of vibration and clunking sound while driving over bumps, if you have any question please ask in the comments below

Great video! Any Tips for removing the Oil Pan for 2012 528i xDrive F10 N20? I will be replacing the timing chain, the oil pan is holding me back.

Hi, well I don’t remember exactly but you’ll have to drop sub frame for sure, also might need to remove front axles

my 2011 528i n52 engine does not have the oil cooling equipment, as the car is shown on the video has. I thought they came on models over 2012

Would this cause a drivetrain malfunction code to pop up ?

Motor mounts - no

Drivetrain malfunction is a generic message that means something is wrong to find out what is you need to scan the car for actual codes most likely in dme

What a bad motor mouth do to your car ? I’m having a bad vibration over 80 mph I change the back deferential bushing and the vibration still any help ?

What part or part number is the engine hook for the hoist ?

It’s your tow hook, you can find it in your trunk

That quick jack whatever doesn't look like something I would trust my life on. Use a jack stand at least man. I'm sure you would agree its worth it.

this ranger quick jack is the safest thing you can use, check out their testing videos, this model is for 5000 lb and they tested id with 15000 lb still held it well. It might look not durable but each rail is about 120-150lb not light at all. I do mobile repair for about 8 years and during that period used all kinds of jacks, jack stands, ramps etc and ranger quick jack is the safest 100%
