Hinata actually killed her father on that scene, and in the novel it makes the reader think that she would do the same with her mother as well. Also I missed the joke Rimuru makes when he sees Luminous kill the Seven Luminaires: "And to think the day would come when I would see the invisible hand of God" 😂
Diablo's skill is called, in the LN, Tempting World. It's very similar to Itachi's tsukuyomi. In that world, Diablo reigns supreme. But unlike Itachi, Diablo uses another skill called Truth Twist, where anything that happens in that world becomes a reality. Them being crumpled into paper in that world also results the same in the real world. Wish the anime kind of went into a little more detail about it, but that's how it works.

The combination of these skills created a virtual confined space. It can be dealt with easily if you have the necessary space-time control/domination skill and you know what you're doing but if you don't...then yea you're screwed.
@@DarkUser5856what you said is pretty much wrong. Temptation World is, pretty much, the strongest skill under Ultimate Skill level. Think about it: to avoid it’s effect, and deal with it “easily”, you Have to have an Ultimate Skill. Even the Chosen One (the most OP unique skill), Absolute End and Pride would have an extremely difficult time of blocking it and surviving. Hell, it can even affect Ultimate Skill users to some extent, a feat only 3 skills in the series managed to achieve.
What I’m trying to say is: yea, you can “easily” block and escape it’s effects. But to do so you have to have the strongest tier of skills in the series and be amongst 30 or so strongest people in the verse.
And it can still evolve further.
@@albuspercivalwulfricbriand5363 No lol. Even without space-time domination skills or ultimate skills(or chosen one) you can still break through the virtual-reality space by simply having more willpower than the user, diablo (source:Vol 7 chapter 6).

The requirement to break free from the skill really is simple that you don't even need chosen hero or any space-time domination skills to counter it. Having enough willpower and a well-trained spiritual body will allow you to break free from the effects of despair time/moment of despair.

The anime greatly simplified Diablo’s killing of the Luminaries. First he brought them into his “Temptation World”, then he used “Despair Time” to make the illusion real and finally he used “End of World” to collapse the “Temptation World” in on itself in order to kill the Luminaries.

Finally, they put Hinata’s backstory pre-dimensional travel in. Now I feel bad for telling people it since I had long given up on them showing it in the anime since I had forgotten that the manga did it at this point. They left a few things out though.
Hinata's father was a gambling addict. Eventually, her father racked up a massive debt from gambling on horse races when Hinata was a child, which made Hinata decide to murder him for life insurance. Hinata's mother suffered an emotional breakdown upon witnessing this murder by her daughter's hand and gotten into religion, causing Hinata to plan to kill her as well and thus orphan herself. Just before that could happen, on her first day of high school, she was whisked away by a "strong gale" to the Central World when she was just 15 years old. Upon arrival, she was attacked by three bandits. She ended up gaining two Unique skills, Usurper and Preserver, and managed to kill the three bandits.
Not long after her arrival in the new world, Shizue Izawa took her in as a disciple. Hinata claims that Shizue was the only person who had been kind to her during her early years in the new world. Within a month, Hinata had surpassed Shizue in strength after copying multiple of her skills using Usurper. Fearing her own attachment, Hinata went on her own way and eventually became the most powerful knight in the Holy Empire Lubelius leading both Crusaders and Rook Geniuses, as well as becoming the Leader of the "Ten Great Saints".
At one point she discovered that the Western Holy Church was under the control of vampires and was conspiring with Demon Lord Valentin. She defeated both Roy and Louis, suffering fatal injuries during the process. However, she was then confronted by the real Demon Lord, Luminous Valentine herself, who promptly revived both her fallen subordinates and Hinata herself.
After some negotiations, Hinata passed the trial of Seven Luminaries and earned the rights to challenge Luminous, but was promptly defeated. Hinata then agreed to become Luminous' subordinate as she deemed the Demon Lord's governing methods to be acceptable in the long run. Nonetheless she keeps honing her abilities in case she ever needs to fight the Vampire Princess again.

Note: When I called Hinata’s Unique Skill Mathematician last episode I thought they were going to use the Kanji (数学者) instead of the Furigana (カワラヌモノ, Preserver) but I have been pleasantly surprised again this episode.

@The_original_one she is the commander. A captain is a leader of a group, the crusaders are like the kurenai of rimuru, the captain of kurenai is gobwa. The commander of all units is Beni, same for hinata, she is the commander of all the forces in the wester holy church.

The Crusaders that are part of the Ten Great Saints are all captains within the Holy Knight Order, also known as the Crusaders, and they are led by Hinata.

@@SlimeTenseiImpact Saare is the second strongest of the Ten Great Saints. He was the leader of the Rook Geniuses before Hinata took over. He's also the only one besides Hinata to be a genuine, if incomplete, Saint.
Arnaud Bauman is just a "mere" Captain and is the second strongest Crusader while Renard Jester is the Vice-Chief of the Crusaders.
they dont really explain it but Holy magic's Spiritual particles are very difficult to predict, they ignores space and time and are made of nearly random elements so it was believed to be impossible to defend against, but Great sage/Raphael witnessed it up close from the first fight against Hinata when she used Disintegration and thanks to Raphael tricking Rimuru into tanking and absorbing Melt Slash(Which is a Disintegration spell infused into a blade) which Hinata intentionally demonstrated since she knew Rimuru would copy it and she would rather he copy the proper form, Raphael was able to deduce its pattern and add the ability to defend against it to Absolute defense, which is the reason it didnt use it against Hinata, there was a chance for the particles to completely ignore the barrier without complete knowledge
Also Great Sage witnessing Disintegration gave Rimuru knowledge on its spell composition which came in handy for Shuna against Adalmann, the only reason Shuna was able to hijack it was because through Rimurus skill food chain she gained the knowledge on how the spell worked so she was able to break it apart and repurpose it, if Adalmann had used any other Holy attack Shuna wouldnt have stood a chance, she was seriously outmatched
Diablos Skill wasnt properly shown, the simplest way to think about it is to create a dimension where he has complete control over everything including time and space, the ability to swap that pocket dimension with reality, and the ability to terminate that pocket reality, so they when Diablo pulled them into it they didnt just die, they were erased from existence before they even knew anything happened
The reasoning behind the Seven days Clergy actions was that they feared losing Luminus favor, she granted them special Energy that basically gave them immortality, at one point it was a weekly rite they received "Love Energy" which also kept them young, but as time went on it became less frequent to the point of the present where its been over 100 years since they last received any, they feared Luminus having another "Favorite" so they began to sabotage anyone who would climb too high, like Adalmann and Hinata, they were supposed to train heroes and protect their people but they purposely neglected their duty to preserve their standing, so when Hinata shows up, takes their abilities by force with Usurper, and then builds up the Temple Knights and Master Rooks herself they began to plot against her, Granbell Rozzo long ago retreated into the shadows in both his Family affairs and used a Homungulus as a stand in for the Seven Days Clergy, he also had his own agenda but thats for future seasons
If you remember earlier in the Season they mentioned that Veldora was nearing his limit of holding in his energy, after Luminus "Educates" him with her Embrace Drain hes no longer at risk of exploding and Luminus had a nice meal to boot
