This piece is a multi-movement duet for violin and cello, inspired by Ravel's Sonata for Violin and Cello. The first movement opens with unsettling harmonics before entering a soft and emotional section. The second and third movements are both fast, with the third's ending being inspired by Handel-Halvorsen's Passacaglia.
