It's not a CVT in the traditional sense, it is a hybrid CVT.

It doesn't, it feels very responsive
I think it's not 2gr-fse in the hybrid. It's specialized 2gr- fxe for top hybrid cars in Toyota, the same with Gs450h.
It is 2GR-FSE, this is the JDM spec Crown Athlete and it came with this engine

@@POVSriLanka Sorry, I think I made a stupid mistake. Wikipedia showed it was actually 2GR-FSE inside GWS-204, the FXE is used after 2009. So the 2013 Toyota Crown Majesta was the first Crown to use it. This engine Basically applied on RX450h and GS450h.

@@eriktan1348 i do not know the quatermile times since we dont drag race here that much in our country.
and the car is much faster than what ive driven in the video since i did not switch on any of the sports mode, i was on ECO mode the whole video.
fuel does around 8 KMPL avg, i donno in MPG terms. also note this is the JDM version so toyota might tune it differently for the export models
