My husband is right now is on two STENTS and the same were put around 4 yrs back. He has been under medication since then. Now some Cardio related problem developed. Doctor advised for angiogram. Presently he is undergoing treatment for pulmonology. Can this treatment be given to him in place of angiogram, which is a painful one, as Doctor says that the above treatment cannot be given to my husband. I seek your advice.
Hello mam...CT coronary angiography is non invasive, painless study....it will give information on coronary arteries as well as stent placed in it....only thing his serum creatinine blood tests should be normal...
CT coronary angiography is not an accurate. If there is any blockage in coronary arteries you need to consult your cardiologist and further if required get cathlab angiography done...becuase its a gold standard
