@@adhamgr2867 no but I saw a video one time about how people fake being interpreters quite a bit. I've seen sign language interpreting and there's usually more motion. I could 100% be wrong though. This is just my speculation.

Assalamualaikum! Thank you...Allah wanted me to hear this today. I've been struggling with anger issues for a great deal of my life. I had NO idea at all that pride was at the center of it all. Now I know. And I cannot stop crying. AstaghfirAllah. No one in all creation has any right to feel pride but Allah. Nothing even exists except by His mercy. And all beings...all creations...great and small...are creations of Allah. I pray I never look down upon anyone nor any thing again and always carry my heart with empathy, compassion, and humility. JazakAllah khayran to all my brothers and sisters.
Mashallah, veryyyyyy true. We all have to check ourselves as much as possible.

Subhanallah! Thank you for this khutba. Allah (SWT) knew I needed to hear this today especially just the way I’ve been navigating recently. Pride can be both a blessing and a curse as well. Please share some practical tips that we can practice in routine to keep ourselves protected from the kibr of good deeds, as this is something we have to constantly struggle with while trying to walk on the right path.
Wa alaikum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. I’ll share one that SubhannAllah, I never knew until recently-I pray that the one who taught me this is guided, helped, and forgiven, ameen:
The acts of worship we perform are a gift from Allah. How?
Some people are not allowed to make dhikr by Allah.
Some people are not able to wake for tahajjud.
Imagine myself or yourself feeling we are better than anyone else, regarding something we have been given as a special favor, which could be taken away from us forever with no notice.
When I think of that, my heart shakes. I pray that Allah protects all of us from kibr, that he guides us, that He replaces our kibr with gratitude, and that He SWT fills us with humility, taqwa, tawheed, and Mercy from Him, ameen.

How to conquer this bad thing?
@@BinteIslam001 I think to always seek refuge in Allah from the rejected and accursed shaytan, knowing that shaytan loves to confuse us and cause us to lose focus.
Allah is all powerful and He knows our intentions. Seek refuge in Allah.

Yes so true. The whispers ; voices of Satan entering into our qalb i.e. the voices of praises on us for our good deeds that Allah has willed for us.
Say taawuz protection from Satan , say thank you to Allah for choosing us to do the good deeds ; because we are mere executors and we borrowed power strength and intelligence from Him.
So we cannot claim any good done. Because Allah borrowed it to us..even our physique, mind and soul.
Allah Most Knowledgeable.

What an amazing Khotbah , may Allah bless you all , i have a question , how can i put the thought when it comes so i get away from having the pride of my good deed ?
Is there any thing i can do daily to evaluate my self ?
Is there any Duaa to make to protect my self from feeling better coz of my good deed from other brother or sister ?
If i had the idea in my head &never share it & work to make it disappear , do i count like i believe in it & i am ganna be sinful ?

What if you are arrogant since childhood and you got prove for it. How do you get rid of it
Make Dua first of all.
Then try to get rid of the arrogance little by little.

Remember that just as every test is a blessing of Allah (swt), every blessing of Allah is a test. He can remove any or all of your blessings as and whenever he wills. Everything you have is by the grace of Allah Subhanallah wa Ta a’la.
Ask yourself if your arrogance in this life, is making provisions for you in the next.

As salamu alaikum.. I don't think he understands the meaning of good deeds.. Because good deeds don't ruin anyone in fact Allah loves good deeds so much He rewards anyone that does them...
He’s talking about having pride in doing those good deeds. When you start being pleased with yourself, that you did something, or something better, than somebody else did not do, or do as well, taints your good deed.
Remember what Allah Subhanallah wa ta a’la, said about people with pride in their heart, and their ability to enter Jannah.

Oh I did want to comment that back then I think they were sinning more actually. Maybe less lewdness but major sins everywhere. Murdering others and burying baby girls and having slaves. Beating their wives viciously. The people of the past OWNED people astaghfirullah.
Comparatively isn’t the way to practice Islam is the takeaway from this. Judgement is a barrier from paradise.
