I looked up his social media, this man spoke 100% the truth something the people i interview RARELY do. He admitted the real reason he is out there with addiction, and his social media you can see just 10 years ago he was living an AMAZING life with a beautiful wife and family. I think THIS is the most real person we have interviewed so far. this couple really deserves more of our time, i dont know if his video will get more views than others but he definately kept it real. Its really a joy when the person we interview does this, a few of the people we interviewed have done a great job as well. its amazing when we get the real deal it makes for great videos
@@Wellwater52 at the end of the video, you can find his CASHAPP. The money i gave him they used it to buy food so they were needy. he asked me to buy him that coke he was drinking, they talked about a consumption issue hopefully they use it for food and not harm.
Thank for giving them a voice. These are people too and their lives matter just as much as anyone else’s. Appreciate what you’re doing out here on these streets. Go to the riverwalk, you’ll find many interesting characters with very interesting stories
Lived and worked at a thrift store organization in Tampa Florida. I was around 27 years old and met older guys that had almost the same tough luck in their lives as the man they interviewed. These men spoke of nice homes, cars, children, and money. They divorced and the wife got everything and left them high and dry. Couldn’t afford to have a place and pay child support so off to jail they went. later in life they find themselves making $3 a day and three meals and a cot.
Housing should be safeguarded as Essential Social Infrastructure. Stop Ai "Real Page", Walstreet and Hedge Funds from purchasing properties and price gouging the poor people.
Best thing for them to do is to find an acre or 2 of raw property.with no restrictions..they could live in a tent, set up an outside shower..have a small garden ect.i like his honesty.i wouldn't do that in Florida though lol.state is gonna end up under water.all ya need is an acre..to be able to live simply and minimalist.as far as the addiction goes.. that's on them to beat.good luck man..I do wish y'all the best
I got a hard luck tale. Beats most any I've ever heard. Bottom line. I should of made it happen. Didn't. 60. Tough luck. Yet made my bed. I lay in its poverty.

This is a good man.I hope someone sees this & offers him free legal representation for his court case.

The state of Florida has money for golf courses. but it cannot provide this man a room. I do not understand their vanes.
Every state has golf courses and homeless people.
@@hikingwiththedog6078 But the State should fund shelter for homeless people before they subsidize elderly rich people.
Especially when these homeless people have paid taxes throughout their lives.
The government is giving illegals free housing and money what does that tell u?
I loved how he said that hard work never did bother him. We need more men like that.
It depends if the hard work provides enough income to maintain a sustainable life. Otherwise, it's just foolhardy slavery.
No matter how hard you work, the rich corporations will never pay a living wage. Wages are not enough to afford housing.
You can't get the things you need and want no matter how hard working you are.
The interviewer does TH-cam because he doesn't want to do physical work.
@@stevenmccallan9202 What evidence do you have to back that statement?
