    Hope you enjoy the animation! Please look into the description if you're interested in where I got the models. I wanted to practice with facial expressions as well as working with smaller details this time around. Next up, I want to try creating my own models.

    I love the bouncyness to the model’s movements it really makes them both feel far more expressive

    Little did Zelda know that Link had forgotten to increase his stamina, and with the increased weight of carrying her as well as the run up before, he only has the stamina to hold on to his glider for about a second longer.
    Also my god the animation looks outstanding. The bouncy expressive nature of it must've taken forever, but the dedication really shows!

      Thanks heaps! Most of the time spent was learning to rig the model. Now with all the assets ready, I should be able to produce another animation soon.

      Honestly the tweening and adding a bounce and stuff is the fun part. You get to experiment on how the animation is actually gonna look. I mean after you placed the more permanent poses when animating. Cuz if you change anything in the animation, it becomes an immediate nightmare…….

    This is awesome! The Buoyancy Flexibility of the Animation, How bouncy it is and how expressive Both Link and Zelda are, It's perfect!, Hell, If you look closely, the way the characters blink is pitch perfect in timing and animation, and the voices for Link and Zelda are so good!
    Also this is wholesome as hell and it's a shame we did not get much of these moments in Totk

    If there would ever be a LoZ movie, I hope it would be in this style. Zelda and Link's appearance and personalities are perfect here.

      Thanks, I'm actually currently working on one! Should be a lot easier and quicker to make, as I already have the assets ready, instead of having to rig both the models from scratch.

    Tears of the Kingdom has put a plethora of Link and Zelda animations in my recommended all of a sudden. But out of all of them, this is the best I've seen, no doubt.

    I really love the expressive style Christoph Schoch used for these models every time I see them. Like, I actually prefer this style to the actual models we get in the games. They're a lot more expressive and interesting to the eye as opposed to the official models.

    the subtle movement of the ears are a nice touch. If the characters were human it would have been very weird but due to both of them are elven it looks very natural.

    Ugh, I wish we had more slice of life moments between these two. Like compared to BOTW and Age of Calamity, there’s so little of it in Tears of the Kingdom. Also also, Zelda you do have a paraglider too y’know

      Thanks! A little trick that we animators do when animating 3D, is when we have a perspective type view like that scene, we enlarge and stretch the hand closer to the camera.

    already got the third blessing orb or whatever they are called, the game is so fun. A stupid trick to move around is take two floating platforms and move one jump on it, move the other and jump on it, reapeet, no flying machine needed air travel.

      Ohh, I hadn't thought of that, gonna try it out! The 2nd game is incredible, there are so many different mechanics compared to the first one.
